❤ CHAPTER FIFTY-ONE: FRIENDS ❤

MEGAN'S POV

Mum decided that she needed to lay down for a while,and while she was in her room, Loki,Adam and I decided that we were going to leave for Asgard as soon as Lizzie got back home from work. We were going to pack and get a taxi to drive us to the "airport" (Loki's apartment) so that everything appeared normal. But once we got inside,we would be teleported to Asgard.

"Dude,can you come help me pack my stuff?" Adam requested Loki."I don't know what the heck I'm supposed to wear for this trip. I've never been to Norway."

"Dude,you know we're not really going to Norway,don't you?" I said in a loud whisper.

"Its okay,darling." Loki laughed, pressing his lips against my temple."Sure,It would be my pleasure to help you pack, Adam." He told him.

"Well then,it seems you two have got your day sorted already," I said with a clap,"so I guess I'll just head over to Annie's to bid her farewell."

"Yeah,okay. Tell her I said hi too." Said Adam nonchalantly, already making his way up the stairs.

"Give her my greetings too,love." Loki said,giving me a quick peck on the lips before rushing after Adam.

SIF'S POV

"Sif!"

I was on my way to the stables when Queen Frigga called for me. Even before she said anything I already knew what she was going to tell me. "I want you to explain to me why you called off the engagement." She said.

This was my chance to start ruining Loki, and I was going to take it. Putting the saddest expression I could master,I walked towards her and bowed."My Queen,forgive me please,but it had to be done." I told her.

"Please do explain your reasons to me,Sif. What happened?"

"I couldn't marry Thor because of how he is. He is impulsive and..."

"Oh,come on,Sif. Don't give me such excuses. You have always known Thor's true nature, and it has never bothered you. So why does it suddenly matter,that you even go to the extent of calling off your engagement to him?" She spoke,firm yet gentle."Come on,tell me,is there something else? I know there is."

"Queen Frigga... I...I.."

"Don't be afraid,Sif. You know you can trust me."

"Okay." I nodded."But I'm afraid you might take this the wrong way..."

"No,just tell me. I won't judge you." She assured me.

"Okay," I nodded again,"the truth is... Loki made me break up with Thor."

"Loki? Why?" She asked,her eyes widened in disbelief.

"He threatened to have my friends killed if I didn't. You see,Prince Loki has always fancied me. It always killed him inside to know that I was going to get married to his brother instead of him."

"Are you sure of what you're saying?"

"Yes,my queen. Why would I lie to you?" I said,blinking back tears. She looked very dubious but I could see that she was refraining from saying anything that would hurt my feelings."He has been behaving quite horribly with me,but I didn't say anything because I did not want to cause any trouble."

She was silent for the briefest of moments before she said,"Alright,I believe you."

"Thank you,Queen Frigga." I bowed.

"I think now I understand why Loki wanted you out of the palace so quickly." She said. My eyes widened in surprise. Loki wanted me out of the palace? He was going to throw me out? I wasn't aware of that bit. Even though I wasn't too surprised that he would want me out of their lives,I didn't actually think he would plan to act on it. "Do not fret." The queen added,seeing my expression,"I will make sure that nobody kicks you out. I will have a talk with my sons and hopefully have this whole thing resolved soon."
