❤ CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE: NEW BOYFRIEND ❤

THOR'S POV

Upon my return from the Northern village I expected to be welcomed with open arms and proud smiles from my parents,but all I got was a scowl from my father and a hard slap across the face from my mother. It was obvious they were unhappy with me.

"Deal with him,Odin! I can't even look at him right now!" Said mother before walking out of the throne room.

"I really don't get what all the fuss is about,father." I said."All I did was defend my honour. Our family's honour."

"Do you really not see your mistake,my son?"He sighed."two wrongs do nor make a right,my son."

"You don't understand,father.."

"Then please,by all means,do make me understand."

"That man dared to mock our name." I told him."he said that you are nothing but a fraud."

"A fraud?"

"Yes,father. He said that Asgard didn't really finish off the jotuns as you make us believe. He said we made a truce with them,and those monsters still live."

My father was silent for a moment,his forehead creased with worry."who is this man? Have him brought to me." He said.

"I'm afraid that won't be possible,father." I said,dropping my gaze to the floor.

"You killed him?" My father growled angrily.

"I had to." I said defensively."How dare he attack the son of Odin!"

"For goodness gracious Thor.."

"Now he will serve as an example to all those who dare think of slandering the king's name!"

Father stood up from his throne,sighing tiredly."Not all problems can be fixed with war,my son." He said."Do you still expect me to crown you king after this?"

My head shot up,concern laced in my voice as I spoke."You wouldn't deny that to me,father,would you?" I asked worriedly."After all,it is my birth right."

"I know that.." He said with a nod,"but your mother doesn't feel the sane way. She is very upset with you."

"But.."

"I'm afraid you'll have to talk this one out with her before coronation day,son."

"I will only get more slaps from her." I growled,placing a hand on my paining cheek.

"Yes,she will slap you," Odin chuckled," but deservedly so. What you did was uncalled for,son."

I bowed my head in guilt and shame."I feel remorseful, father. I killed an innocent man because of a stupid lie. I let him provoke my anger and look what it has resulted to.."

"Yes,it is quite unfortunate." The king nodded."just be sure not to let it happen again."

I nodded and bowed before him."you have my word."

MEGAN'S POV

I sat sown in class,staring at my new teddy bear. I couldn't believe it finally happened. I was now with Diego. I was Diego's girlfriend! And It all started that morning when Annie and I were walking to school.

I was still feeling pretty sad about not having Loki around,and so Annie started talking me into giving Diego a chance. I wasn't too sure about that,but then she somehow managed to pep talk me into it anyway. i'm usually not easily convinced,but she has a gift.

When we got to school the first person we saw was Diego. He was with Tony at the parking lot,leaning on his car as they talked. He only had a vest on,and he was playing with his shirt,twirling it in his hand.
