MEGAN'S POV

I banged at the gigantic doors relentlessly, screaming for somebody - anybody - to let me out. Loki had me locked me up and disappeared to I-don't-know-where. He did not look happy when he left the room, and I was not going to sit back and wait to see what he was going to do to me. He had nearly killed me once - him and that despicable Sif - what was to stop him from doing it again?

I was in the middle of throwing myself at the door, in hopes of breaking it open, when suddenly it swung open and I went flying outside, colliding into none other than Loki himself. "What in Odin's name were you doing?" He asked as he grabbed me by the arms and dragged me back inside, two guards trailing behind him.

They were rather large and intimidatingly tall. They were dressed in full body armor and held swords in their hands. Their faces were hard and expressionless. They scared me. "What are they doing here?" I asked Loki, who roughly threw me on one of the plush sofas.

"What do they look like to you? They're guards." He answered coldly.

"Are you seriously going to keep me in here as one of your prisoners?" I gasped, my eyes widening in horror.

"If I have to, yes." He growled.

"Why are you doing this?" I whined. "I thought you loved me."

"I thought you loved me too." He retorted. "I am very disappointed in you, Megan. Why don't you trust me? Why is it so hard for you to believe in me?"

LOKI'S POV

I watched as Megan's eyes filled with tears. She lowered her gaze from mine and shook her head. I resisted the urge to go to her and wrap her in a warm comforting hug. I clenched my jaw and curled my fingers into fists. I had to remain firm. I was upset with her and she owed me an explanation. This relationship was not going to work if she didn't trust me. I never thought she would be so gullible.

"I was once cheated on." She said."it was a long time ago, but ever since I've always been wary about guys I dated. I just have this massive fear that I'll get lied to again and then get thrown to the side as if I was nothing." She fiddled with her fingers as she explained herself, letting the tears flow down freely.

"I would never do that to you." I was going to say, but just then there was a loud knock and the guards opened the doors to let Annie, Lizzie and Adam in. They all panicked when they saw Megan crying.

"What did you do to her, Loki?" Lizzie screeched, rushing to her sister's side."Why is she crying?"

"And what are they doing here?" Annie asked, pointing to the guards."You weren't planning to keep her locked up as a prisoner, were you?" She said scoldingly.

"Annie told us everything, sis." Adam spoke up, wrapping his sister in a hug."If you really want to leave, we're coming with you."

"I never thought you'd cheat on my sister, Loki." Lizzie said, her voice laced with disgust. "What a shame."

"I never cheated on her! Why won't any of you believe me?!" I yelled in frustration. I could already feel a headache coming on. I was starting to get fed up with everyone.

"Oh I don't know, maybe because you're the god of mischief and lies?" Annie spat at me.

"Okay ENOUGH!" I screamed at all of them."You know what? Have it your way! If I'm so despicable to all of you, then you can leave anytime you want to! Even better, leave right this instant! I am Loki of Asgard. I don't have to put up with any of this!"

I turned to the guards."Have them escorted out of the palace." I ordered them. They walked up to them and pushed them towards the door, Megan included, but I pulled her back. She watched in dismay as the guards left with everyone else, the doors banging shut behind them.
