❤ CHAPTER ELEVEN: OFF WITH HIS HAIR ❤

MEGAN'S POV

I felt myself relax when Loki spoke to us.His eyes were still green but his gaze had softened and his tone in voice wasn't as sharp when he talked to Annie. He was back to his usual obnoxious self,but that strangely made me happy.

"He's so full of himself."Annie scoffed as we watched him leave.I nodded in agreement,the smile on my face becoming more difficult to hide.
"Hey," Suddenly Annie nudged me,and I turned my head to look at her.She reached into her school bag and pulled out a pair of scissors."I brought these with me." She said,waving them teasingly in front of my face."Today is the day we finally cut off his stupid hair!" She added,an evil grin plastered on her face.

"Nice." I nodded,and we exchanged high-fives.
"Since he gives you a harder time than I,I'll let you do the honours." Said Annie,handing me the scissors."So we'll switch places and you'll sit behind him today.I'll sit at your place." She instructed,and I nodded in agreement as I slipped the scissors inside my bag.

Sitting so close to Loki I noticed things I hadn't before. Like how nearly-perfect his pale skin looked. And how graciously long his neck was. Most of the time it was hidden by his thick mass of hair,but now that he had held it up in an effortless-looking messy bun,I had the pleasure of feasting my eyes on his beautiful form.Suddenly I got the urge to pull his head back and bite into his flesh,just to have a taste of..

"Get it together Megan!" I scolded myself.If I didn't stop myself my imagination was going to run wild. A bit too wild.

I opened the book in front of me and started flipping through the pages absentmindedly. As I did so,Loki suddenly turned around and i could tell he was surprised to find me sitting in Annie's place.
"Why are you here?" He asked,shifting in his chair so that he could comfortably face me.
"Why do you ask? Are you going to kick me out of this desk too?" I said with my head still down.

"Ehehehe.." He smirked at me,and I looked up at him.His eyes had gone back to their natural blue-green colour.

"Wow,what happened to your contacts?" I teased."You sure took them out fast."

"Megan.." He purred softly,making my heart flutter. Just the way he said my name made me feel...

Snap out of it Megan! I mentally slapped myself.What was wrong with me? You weren't supposed to think nice things about the enemy!

I refocused my attention back to him and he was giving me the you-know-i-was-kidding look.

"Oh,so your eyes really change colour like that?" I gasped,genuinely impressed. He nodded,giving me his best smug look."Cool,right?" He grinned at me.

"Whatever." I laughed,rolling my eyes good-naturedly. Loki shrugged his shoulders and turned back around to face the front.

"Pssst!"

I heard someone hiss behind me. It was Annie.She looked scandalized. I frowned at her."what?" I mouthed wordlessly.

"What do you think you're doing?!" She whispered loudly."You.do.NOT.laugh with him! You do what brought you there and you LEAVE! " She shrieked out the last word,making me and a few others in class jump back.

"Damn Annie,calm down!" I said,holding my hands up in surrender."Ok,i get the message.Relax." She nodded curtly at me and I spun around to complete the mission. I reached into my bag and pulled out the scissors. I looked around,and saw that no one was watching me except for Annie.Then,taking a deep breath,I set my gaze on Loki's hair.

That bun looked so beautiful and soft I felt a little bit guilty about what I was about to do. Sorry little man bun, I thought to myself,but you have to go!

I put the scissors at the ready,and before I could back out of it,I tightly shut my eyes and then...

SNIP!

ANNIE'S POV

He did not give her time to react. The moment the scissors went off he was up. And in one swift motion,he grabbed Megan by the arm. He looked kinda hot with short hair,but that was not the time to think about that. I had to save my best friend.

"Leave her alone!" I yelled,only to have my wrist grabbed too.

"Insufferable wenches!" He growled through gritted teeth,shaking us as he spoke."YOU.WILL.PAY." He pulled us closer to him."You better hide.Because I will put an end to all of you!" He hissed,then pushed us away abruptly,making Megan and I fall on our backs. With that said,he walked out of the classroom. Megan and I exchanged worried looks.

Oh my God,he was going to kill us!
