❤ CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE: PRINCE OF ASGARD ❤

ADAM'S POV

I was coming out the kitchen when I heard someone screaming for help. I put my bottle of water down and ran outside,only to find Megan limping toward the house,and her leg was bleeding."Adam! Help me!" She cried when she saw me.I rushed to her and that's when i saw Sif walking toward us,dressed in a golden armor and holding a long sword.She looked pretty awesome but also pretty dangerous,like she was out for blood.I almost didn't recognize her.

"Adam don't let her get near me,she's crazy!" Megan sobbed hysterically,hiding behind me. I wanted to be brave for my sister and for myself,but I shook like a leaf when Sif raised her sword at us."M-meg..w-what did you do to make her this mad?" I squeaked,my lips quivering uncontrollably with fear.

"Give her to me,Son of Sky." Said Sif."Nobody has to get hurt."

"Don't do it,Adam. She wants to kill me!" Megan cried,peeping her head over my shoulder.

"If you won't comply you leave me no choice." Sif spoke up and next thing I know,she threw the sword at us,aiming for my heart.My eyes shot open wide and Megan screamed.I went weak at the knees,waiting for the deadly weapon to plunge into my chest,but then something strange happened..

Right before the sword made contact with my body,an invisible force seemed to have appeared and threw the sword off target. it flew high and fell in our yard.

"I'm alive!" I cried with relief,running my hands up and down my torso. Out of nowhere a green aura formed and seconds later Loki's form appeared in front of us. He was dressed in an all-leather-and-metal armor and a horned helmet on his head.in his hand was a magnificent sceptre that had a glowing ball of brilliant blue attached to it. I was scared out of my wits but whoa..

He looked awesome!!!

MEGAN'S POV

"Out of my way,Loki." Sif ordered,but Loki didn't budge.

"Who do you think you're talking to,lady Sif?" He asked,spitting out the word 'lady' with distaste. I straightened up and held Adam's hand. I never thought I'd be so happy to see Loki. I hated his guts,but he had just saved my brother's life,and I was grateful to him for that.

"Loki--" Sif started to speak,but Loki growled for her to be quiet and she immediately fell silent.

He walked up to her,each step overflowing with confidence and authority,and I could not help but swoon at the sight."Iam Loki," he roared,"Son of Odin and Prince of Asgard."

Adam and I exchanged impressed looks. He was a prince? Nice!

"I do not take orders from you.You take orders from me." He growled out the last word,now towering over her."You fear what my father will do to you if you don't do your job,but let me tell you,if you so much as touch a single hair on Megan or any of my mortal friends,I will kill you myself,Sif!"

Before Sif could do anything,Loki pressed the tip of his sceptre to Sif's chest and her eyes started changing.They turned to match the blue glowing from his sceptre and she looked possessed."Now go tell him what I told you." He told her,and almost in a robot-like manner,she walked away into the distance.

ADAM'S POV

Loki then turned to us,and my jaw dropped. His eyes were the darkest emerald green and his tongue was..silver?! WHAT THE BLOODY HELL WAS HAPPENING?!! I opened my mouth to scream but no sound came out.

"W-what did you do to her?" Megan stuttered,holding onto me more tightly. Loki shrugged and walked over to us.I tried to hold it in,but my bladders seemed to have a mind of their own. I wet myself.

Yup.

The pee just kept on flowing and there was nothing I could do to stop it.

Loki's gaze dropped down to my pants and he narrowed his eyes in disgust.Megan followed his gaze and limped away from me."Adam,ew! That's gross!" She shrieked. I gave her a mean look but said nothing.I was still too scared to say anything. Loki then took a few steps toward me,a menacing grin on his face. I tried to move away from him,but my feet seemed glued to the ground. He leaned in toward me and I felt my insides churn and turn into jelly. My mind went totally blank.

I whimpered,silent tears rolling down my face,afraid that he was going to kill me.He looked right into my eyes with those deadly eyes of his,that devilish smile of his growing wider. Then he suddenly jerked forward and yelled,"BOO!"

That did it.

Everything went blurry and I was suddenly engulfed in darkness as I hit the ground like a sack of potatoes.

MEGAN'S POV

"BOO!"

Loki scared my brother,and he fainted right away.I watched as he burst into a gale of laughter. He gently kicked him with his boot and doubled over in a louder laugh when he didn't move."He actually fainted!" He wailed in amusement.I limped over to him and slowly lay next to him.After everything that had just happened I saw nothing to laugh about.

"Adam,wake up.." I said weakly. I winced,as the pain in my leg increased,but that was the least of my concerns. I just wanted Loki and the rest of his family to disappear and leave us in peace.

"You look pathetic." Loki spoke up as his laughter died down. I gave him a dirty look but he shrugged and said,"its true."

He then made a piece of cloth appear in his hand and he waved it over Adam's nose. I realised it was wet with alcohol.

"Adam!" I squealed happily when his eyes fluttered open. He smiled weakly at me then sat up.

"I just had the weirdest dream,sis.."

"It wasn't a dream." I told him as I wrapped him in a hug."You pee'd yourself!"

He looked around him and nodded as he registered everything in his head. Then he let out a groan when he looked down at his pants.

"Sorry 'bout that." Loki smirked.Adam froze again.He hadn't realized he had been standing there.

"Calm yourself.I will not hurt you." Loki assured him."Let us go inside and I will explain everything." He leaned down and picked me up in his arms. It was a strange feeling being held by him so close like that,but I liked it. Adam got back on his feet and he led the way back to our house.

ANNIE'S POV

I felt great when I left Harry's house. We had just hung out and played video games while we talked about stupid stuff,but it was great fun. When I was about to leave I had kissed him on the cheek. I took him by surprise,but he seemed to like it. I rushed out of his house minutes later.I still felt so giddy as I skipped down the road towards the coffee shop.

The bell jingled when I walked in with two other people.I gave the girl behind the counter a big smile and then quickly skimmed through the menu on the board hung above her while she attended to the middle-aged man standing next to me. When he left to sit down the lady beside him let me order before her.I nodded gratefully then said to the worker,"Erm..I will have a latté and a bag of those two chocolate-covered donuts to go." She nodded and went to fix my order. A minute later she came back and handed me my things. I then paid and turned around to leave,only for my eyes to meet with Diego and Stephanie..kissing.

Oh no,I thought as I walked outside.Diego and Stephanie were an item? Then why was he chatting Megan up over the phone,leading her on and giving her false hope? What a jerk. Megan was going to be so disappointed when I told her,but I had to tell her what I saw.I couldn't let her continue daydreaming about an idiot like him.
