❤ CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR: I LOVE LOKI ❤

LOKI'S POV

I lay the mortal on her bed and ripped her jeans off from her injured leg."Those were my favourite pair." She said sadly with a pout.

I rolled my eyes at her.

"what?" She asked,catching sight of my expression.

I shook my head."You mortals make a fuss over the silliest of things." I told her.

She smiled and shook her head. "Its so weird hearing you talk like that.I never thought you'd call me 'mortal'."

"Well that's what you are." I said with a shrug. I cleaned most of the blood with a clean cloth then placed my hands over the wound.A familiar green aura appeared and I moved it all over her leg and healed it.

"Wow."Said an awestruck Adam as he walked into the room,finally changed into a clean pair of jeans.."That's so cool."

"You're OK now.I healed your leg." I told her,forcing a smile on my face."I'll be on my way now." I said with a sigh.

"Thank you." Megan said to me,tears now clouding her eyes.I nodded at her and stood up to leave.it hurt me to walk away from her,but I had caused so much trouble for her already.it was time for me to look for some place else to live,Since my father instructed Heimdall not to let me back into Asgard under any circumstances.

I was out the door when I bumped right into a rushing Annie,and the drink she was holding went spilling all over me."Oh!I'm so sorry!" She cried,then took a moment to look at me."Loki?" She gasped."What are you doing here? And why on earth are you dressed liked that?!" She asked,her eyes running up and down my form."Are you going to a comic book convention or something?"

"Megan will explain everything to you."I said tiredly and walked past her.

She turned around and smiled."Hey Loki?" She called.

I stopped and turned to look at her,sighing loudly."what?" I asked.

"Dont tell anyone i said this but..You look hot dressed like that." She winked at me and ran inside.

I stood there smiling to myself long after she closed the door behind her. I had hated the idea of coming to midgard,and I loathed every single one of them,and yet here I was,defending and saving their lives. And even loving them.Who would have ever guessed that would happen? I laughed. Life had a funny way of twisting things around.

I spun on my heels and continued walking.

FRIGGA'S POV

I was resting in my chambers when Odin stormed inside,looking quite upset."What happened to you?" I asked indifferently. These days,with the battles and everything,he always seemed to be in a horrid mood,so I was not exactly alarmed to see him so angry.

"Its Loki.I don't know what to do with him!" He huffed as he paced around the room.I sat straight in my seat,now eager to hear what he had to say.

I loved my sons equally and dearly,but I took special interest in Loki when it came to him and his father.The relationship between them was quite sensitive,and only a fine line of tolerance kept them from tearing each other apart. Their constant warring with each other tired me,but I had no choice but to keep my cool and be the voice of reason between them.Otherwise chaos would ensue.

"What happened?" I asked my husband. He took several breaths before he answered me."He sent Lady Sif back to us!" He shouted.

My eyes widened in surprise.I always thought I knew Loki,antics and all,but he always manages to catch me off guard most times."But she's supposed to be protecting him!" I exclaimed.Sif was a strong girl,and she rarely lost a fight.Every time I had seen her training with my sons,she always won.So i wondered what Loki did to make her come running back to Asgard.
