❤ CHAPTER FORTY-NINE: THE TALK ❤

MEGAN'S POV

"Hey. Are you and Loki okay? Why did he carry you out of class like that?" Annie asked me as we changed into our P.E uniforms.

"Oh,that. It was nothing. I got mad at him because he said he wouldn't be able to come for the date we planned." I explained."I'm afraid we'll have to cancel it."

"Why won't he be able to come?"

"He said he has things to take care of in Asgard. Thor is going to be crowned Ruler of Asgard or something,and he wants to prepare for the ceremony."

"Thor is being crowned king? That's awesome!" She exclaimed,fist bumping my shoulder.

"I know." I agreed."And guess what? He wants me to go with him to Asgard."

"Whaaaaaaatttt!! No way!"

"Yes way!"

"And? Did you accept?"

"Yes. I'm going to talk to my parents tonight."

"They're going to freak out." Annie commented,all excitement leaving her face."I honestly don't think they'll allow you to go."

"Same here." I admitted,"but at least they'll know the truth. All I can do is hope for the best."

"Alright,why did you call us here?"

"This better be important." Adam and Lizzie said as they walked in to my room and shut the door behind them.

"I assure you,its important." I told them."I need your help."

"What kind of help?" Lizzie asked.

"Are you pregnant?" Adam gasped.

"No I'm not,you idiot!" I threw a pillow at him. He caught it in his hands and threw it right back.

"Then what is it?" He asked.

"You guys know Loki,right?" I started,"well he--"

"You're pregnant with an alien baby?!" Adam gasped in horror,interrupting me yet again.

"No!"

"You're a mutant now,aren't you?"

"Shut up,Adam!"

"Ignore this fool. Continue." Lizzie rolled her eyes. "What about Loki? Is he back here?"

"Yes." I nodded."He has been here for a little while now. And now we're dating."

"WHAT?!" They both yelled incredulously at the same time.

"What do you mean you're dating? Have you gone mad?" Lizzie shouted."He is an alien!"

"He's not an alien. He's a demigod."

"Alien,demigod,same thing. What difference does it make? In the end he's not human!"

"So what?" I huffed.

"He tried to kill us! Remember?" Adam spoke up.

"What do you mean,Adam? He saved your life! Or did you forget?" I said snappishly."I thought you were going to be more supportive of me."

"I'm sorry," he apologised, lowering his voice,"I'm just shocked by the news,that's all."

"Have you gone insane too? You're supporting this?" Lizzie gaped at him.

"Honestly,Lizzie,other than the whole 'he isn't exactly  human' thing,Loki is a cool guy. He's my bro. I have nothing against him." Adam told her.
