MEGAN'S POV

"Remind me to never drink on a school night."I said to Annie as I threw up in a toilet in the girls' bathroom for the third time that morning. She handed me a tissue and held my hair up again as I bent down, awaiting the next hurl. I felt sick to my stomach and had the worst headache ever.

"I can't believe you went to get drunk at Loki's." She complained."Number one,I'm offended that you didn't invite me,number two,how could you go in to the enemy's territory?! That was stupid!"
I puked again."Yup.." I agreed, and vomited again."That's why you're my best friend--" I paused to gag,"--you remind me not to do stuff like that."

She handed me more tissue."Are you done,or do you need to vomit some more?" She asked. I took a moment to breathe then shook my head."No,I'm good." I said. The whole bathroom smelled like alcohol and vomit now.I dumped the tissue in the toilet and flushed everything down. After washing my face and mouth Annie gave me some mints to chew on while she did my makeup. It was times like these that I was very grateful to have a best friend like her. She always had my back.

When we got to class I was surprised to see Loki perfectly sober and calmly reading a book. What the heck?! "How come you don't have a hangover?" I asked, sitting in the chair in front of him.Annie stood beside him with her arms crossed over her chest. He raised his eyebrows at me and laughed."Wait, you mean you got drunk? Like really, really drunk?"

"Well duh,it was alcohol! So yes, stupid!" I said ,rolling my eyes. Annie pursed her lips. Loki laughed some more."I know," he said,"but I thought you'd get only just a little bit tipsy and not--" he paused to catch his breath,"--anyway," he sighed,"hangovers are for weaklings like you.Now go away."

"Iam NOT a weakling!" I screeched."That was some pretty strong stuff we had last night." I defended myself.

Loki shrugged and waved his hand dismissively."OK,if that will make you feel any better, then we'll go with that."

"Why do you have to be such an asshole about everything?" I groaned. He stuck his tongue out at me and went back to reading his book.

"You can be such a baby sometimes." Annie clicked her tongue at him and sat down. I also went back to my seat and glared at him for a while. It was like the more things got messed up with me,the more happier and snobby he got.He thrived on other people's misery.I didn't even know why I liked him.

Suddenly he turned around and grinned at me."Oh,by the way," he said,as loud as he could,"those mints you're chewing are not helping.Your breath still smells like garbage."

And the whole class burst out laughing...at me.

ANNIE'S POV

"Oh,by the way," Loki suddenly whipped around and smirked at Megan,"those mints you're chewing are not helping.Your breath still smells like garbage."The entire class burst into gales of laughter. Somebody even wailed and another dropped to the floor crying-laughing.

It was terrible.

"You vile human being!" I cried, smacking Loki with my textbook."That was mean!" He didnt look the least bit bothered.I turned to look at Megan. She had her head buried in her hands in embarrassment."Meg,are you OK?" I asked worriedly.

"Of course I'm not!" She snapped, then stormed out of the class, only for the laughs to grow louder.

"Everyone just shut up!" I screamed, and ran after Megan.

I found her crying in the girls' bathroom."I hate him." She sobbed.I wrapped her in a hug and let her cry everything out.Loki was just the meanest person ever.I was going to give him a piece of my mind later on."Now everyone is going to call me garbage breath." She said with a sniff.
