{Spencer Reid}
{us - Spencer Reid X reader}The girl climbed up the stairs, clearly not eager for her last year of torture, aka high school. 12 and finishing high school? Some may say too young, but (y/n) would be the judge of that. She loved to prove people wrong, hoping to get at least 2 PhD's before turning 20. Her life goal was to become the smartest female in the world, her IQ already higher then most. 162.
She closed her eyes to let the daydreams flow in as the teacher droned on about a subject she knew more about than him at.
"Our new student..." said a monotone voice, snapping (y/n) out of her daze. A small boy stood there, with thick glasses and a awkward nervous smile.
"Hey." he started nervously, dropping his books. He leaned down to grab them and got back up awkwardly.
"My name is" a bunch of students in the class started to cough loudly, fake screaming like they were dying of the plague. The main noise-maker was a talk Indian boy named Jay. He was fairly attractive and not girls giggled whenever he said anything and flirted with him.
"Oh shut up JAY." She smirked "Unless you want me to tell them your little secret..." (Y/n) said. 'Jay' s secret was that his real name was Leonard Subramanium, though at school he was Jay Raj. His face turned red and he shut up. Now for being a 12 year old girl, you would expect people to be mean and horrible to her. But everyone knew better than to mess with her, and everyone stayed their distance.
The boy looked adoringly at the girl who seemed to be his age.
*a month later*
The boy, Spencer Reid, was hopelessly in love. He couldn't stop staring at (y/n) from the back of the classroom. He knew she wouldn't feel the same way for him, as a few other more attractive guys her age(smarter kids that are 12) had set their eyes for her. She was so beautiful, he was surprised that everyone wasn't already over her. They didn't talk much, but sometimes, she would compliment his shirt or pants, or anything really, and his face would go red. She would always stutter and go slightly red around him too, Spencer assumed it was because she didn't like him for the longest Timex
What he liked was that she didn't mind how he was, his clothes or hair or anything. But today, Spencer knew he wanted to tell her. It's go big or go home.
"Hey, (y/n)?" She closed the locker door, and the slightest of blushes creeped onto her face.
"Y-Yeah? Spencer?" She said, holding onto her books.
"Uh- um- I- I- think- know- I- uh-" he stuttered.
"Spencer?"
"I like you, (y/n). A lot." He finally got out.
Her eyes grew wide and she smiled a bit.
"I like you too Spencer." she said and broke out into a wide grin, just like Spencer. [I've written Spencer so many times it looks so weird to me]. He didn't want to kiss her, not yet. That was for a sweeter, more necessary moment.
