Its been almost a year since you gave up the hunting business. It had been a struggle at first, not being so paranoid at everything. Hell, you still had everything from your past hunts. Holy water in the old water bottle on your bed mantle. The silver demon sword in your vase hiding behind the long bamboo reeds. The gallon of borax unsuspectedly sitting underneath your kitchen sink. The carts and carts of salt and the rifle hung above your desk. Just in case, right? But you were as normal as you could be. Just a regular college girl, studying for Master's in Biochem and Forensic Sciences, trying to just, fit in for the first time in a long while. But then something just had to screw up all the normalcy you had made for yourself.
And it ended with a Winchester.

Your eyes scanned the page of the newer, updated, Biology books quickly, taking in the information faster than anyone else could. Full concentration, thats what you needed, to do this. But your 'full concentration' was pierced by the sound of blaring sirens. Your head spun around, and saw the black hood of a cops car. Jumping up, you stepped out the door, your hunter instincts suddenly turning on. Your urge to fake your identity was overwhelming, but you fought through and tried to walk casually towards the crime scene.
"So- uh- what happened." you asked a girl standing next to you, who's attention was clearly on her phone more than the dead human in front of her.
"Some girl clawed her eye out of her, like, skull or something then, idk, stabbed herself in the brain? I don't know, I don't care" she waved it away. And then you saw the two people you had wanted the least to be here.
"Agent Padalecki" said the short one. "Agent Jensen." said the tall one. You cursed under your breath, as you immediately recognized the two shit heads. This, coincidentally, was the same fake identity they had used when they messed up your case. .
"Fucking Winchesters" you whispered, as you walked past the yellow line, ignoring the cops.

"Jared! Jensen! Such a long time since I've seen the likes of you two!" you said, plastering a fake smile on your face. They turned suddenly.
"(Y- Mariana!" Dean said, looking at you and trying hard not to burst out in surprise.
"Jared!" you replied back, looking at his face.
"what- a- delight to see you here!" 'Jensen' exclaimed, running his hand his long flowing, gorgeous hair. Dean looked at you, his eyebrows raised as if to say- what the hell are you doing here?

"So yeah, that's the basis of what happened to me." You sum up, as Dean sprawls on your bed and Sam wearily sits on your couch.
"So I- uh- see all the hunting things. Preparation or protection?" Sam asks.
"Protection" you reply non chalantly.
"Don't you have like Leviathans to kill or something"
"Nope, solved that problem." Dean says cheerily.
"Fucking Winchesters, Why the hell are you here?"
"Needed a real case -haven't worked one in a while you see. Down in Purvatory, time goes slow."
"Why am I not surprised Winchester."
"Can you help us? Just for old times sake?" Sam begs, and your heart melts at his puppy dog eyes.
"Finnnnnnnnnnnne"
"YES"

The horde of vampires came at you, and only you. You knew what you had to do. You had to Matrix this motherfucker. With some Jackie Chan - Martial Arts action you sliced off 5 off the vampires head in one swing. They clattered to the floor, leaving the hollow echo of the thin metal reverberating around the room.
"Well shit." Dean muttered under his breath. The vampires- the entire nest- was dead within 2 minutes. Sean couldn't believe his own eyes- he had forgotten how good you were in killing monsters. And how badass you were? It couldn't help but turn Dean on JUST A LITTLE BIT.
"Hey, (y/n)? Can I talk to you for a quick sec?" Sam asked, running his hand through his hair nervously. Deans eyes narrowed and his ears tried to inconspicuously single out what they were saying.
"So then, if it's alright with you, of course- would you like to star hunting ago an wit us?"
"Serially?"
"Yeh seriously"
"I have to domain college, I have to get married, I have to have Kids, A NORMAL LIFE"
"So a normal life is keeping a katana bedside, or holy water on your counter? Being over cautious of your surroundings, never leaving your guard down? Having such great skills that can never be out to any use? With your amazing skills- (y/n)- we could save so many people instead of you just sitting idle. You could even get the guy in the end" Sam concluded, and you thought about it.
"Please- just let me finish college. One more quarter than I'm down. I need this degree just in case what we're doing doesn't work out" You ask, wiping your hair out of your face.
"fine. well wait with you."
"WHAT NO!" You screamed.
"I-"
"No. Out OUT OUT OUT" You repeated as you pushed them out the door, walking back to your dorm room.
