Chapter 30

When I woke up, there was at least 3 nurses in the room talking to Shawn.

"Mr. Mendes, we'd like to inform you that there was no damage to your organs."

"You can go home in-"

"Can you guys talk quieter? My girlfriend is sleeping."

"Oh.. Sorry."

Their tones changed to a quieter one and they continued.

"You can go home tomorrow at noon."

"Ok. Thank you for the update."

"You're very welcome Mr. Mendes. By the way.. You and Mrs. Mendes are a very cute couple."

I blushed a little and they walked out.
I lifted my head to look at Shawn and we laughed a little.

"Mrs Mendes aye?"

"Haha yeah... In my opinion.. It sounds really cute."

I blushed again and kissed his cheek.

"I'm gonna go grab you a muffin from Starbucks downstairs. Ill be right back."

"Ok but before you go.. Can I have another kiss?"

I sighed and smiled and then gave him another kiss.

"Text me if there's anything else you need."

"Ok baby."

I got up from his bed and walked out into the Hall.
As I got downstairs, I turned a corner to go into Starbucks and ran into someone.

"I am so sor- YOU!"

The guy I bumped into was, of course, Jack.

"What are you doing here?!"

"I was coming to apologize."

"I'm not stupid enough to fall for your apologizes again, Jack. Especially not now since you put my BOYFRIEND IN THE HOSPITAL!"

"IM SORRY!"

Everyone in there was starring at us now.

"SORRY DOESN'T CUT IT!"

"THEN WHAT WILL?!"

"HOW ABOUT YOU LEAVE ME, SHAWN, ANDREA, AALIYAH AND EVERYONE ELSE ALONE!"

"I can't do that, Megan."

"WHY NOT?"

"BECAUSE I STILL LOVE YOU MEGAN!"

I was about to answer when my phone rang.

"Hello?"

"I hear yelling.. whats going on?"

"Ill tell you after."

"Ok. Love you princess."

"Love you too."

I hung up and turned to Jack who was looking at me with a hopeful look.

"You love me?"

"Yeah."

"BULLSHIT! If you "love" me you wouldnt have hurt me or Shawn!"

"HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IM SORRY?!"

"NONE BECAUSE IM DONE TALKING TO YOU, ASSHOLE!"

I brushed passed him and walked up to the counter.
I was about to answer when I felt a pair of arms snake around me.
I flinched my elbow back and hit him right in the side.

"OUCH!"

I turned to face him and starred him dead in the eyes.

"I swear to god Jack Gilinsky, if you touch me or Shawn or Aaliyah or anyone else ever again, I will beat the shit out of you and you know I'll do it."

He got up and walked out and looked at the ground.
Fucking whimp.
I turned back around and faced the cashier who was filming me.

"Hi."

"H-Hi."

Why is she stuttering?

"Uhm... Can I get a chocolate chip muffin and an apple juice please?"

"Y-yeah.. Anything for y-you ma'am."

"Ok.. Why does it seem like you're scared of me right now?"

"I am."

"Why?"

"Because you just stood up to the Jack Gilinsky and got touched by him and didn't even freak out! You're a strong girl."

"I've dated him before, trust me. Hes not what the media says he is. Anyways, can I get my Apple juice and muffin now?"

"Yeah totally!"

She handed me the muffin and gave me an apple juice as I was paying.

"Thanks."

I walked out of starbucks and went back up to Shawn room to see Raiden and Johnson there.
I sat down next to Shawn on the bed and gave him his Apple juice and muffin.

"Thanks baby."

"You're welcome... What are they doing here?"

"Johnson said that Jack apologized to you downstairs and you flipped shit on him.. He showed me the video and everything and since you wouldn't listen to him.. He said he wanted to talk to me so that's why they're here.. Just in case he tries to do something again."

"If he tries to do something again I'll beat his ass."

"Awwwhhh my princess is getting protective of her Prince."

"Yeah well it's usually the other way around but oh well."

He smirked and I pecked his lips and then we waited.
