Lucas's POV:
Today I'm bringing Donyae out, since its her birthday week. First, I'm gonna make he breakfast, then we're gonna go shopping, then finally we'll be to the big surprise.
"Morning, babe."
"Morning, Lucas." She said rubbing the sleep from her eyes. She walked into the kitchen and I picked her up to sit on the counter and went back to cooking.
"So....Lucas what's all this?"
"What? I can't cook for ma baby?"
"No,its not that. Its just you don't do this everyday."
"Well, I'm doing it today. Now eat up, we have to do a lot today."
"Where are we going?'
"Surprise." She pouted and finish eating. After that, I cleaned everything up, we got dressed and left to go to the mall.
"Can u please tell me where we're going?"
"No, its a surprise."
"I guess." She said then took a nap. When we arrived at the mall, I woke Donyae up and we got out the car, walking in the mall hand in hand.
"The mall? That's not a surprise. You know you could've told me." She said. First, I brought her to Victoria's secret, Rule 21, Old Navy,  Footlocker, and other stores. She probably had at least 40 bags to the least. We were now in the food court, eating Chinese.
"Donyae, hurry up so we can go somewhere else." She nodded and finished eating. After we were done, we cleaned up the mess, and went to the car. After 30 minutes if driving, we were to the ring shop I was looking at. Shiddd. I needa cuff Donyae, because she's mine! And mine only.
"Lucas, what are we doing here?"
"You'll see." We walked in the shop going to the counter.
"What will I be helping you find today, young man?"
"I wanted to have a look at your diamond wedding rings." She nodded and went to the back to get them.
She came back with a rack, and Donyae eyes lit up at the specifically first one she saw. She tried it on, and instantly smiled.
"I want this one." She said.
"We'll take it." She nodded and put it in a velvet ring box. Before walking out, I had to do something.
"Donyae?"
"Yeah, Lucas?"
"Will you do the honor of becoming Mrs. Coly?" She was in tears by now. And shook her head vigorously.
"Yes, yes, yes!" She said wrapping her arms around my neck. I got off my knee and hugged her waist, sliding the ring on.
"I love you so much, Lucas!" She said excited because of her new ring. And new husband. Everyone was clapping and cheering us on by now. I smiled and we walked out the shop.
"Best present ever!" She squealed one more time looking at her ring. She kissed me one more time before getting in the car. I like to see my baby girl happy. Well, my wife happy.
