"Carter! Carter?" I yelled ad I looked around the house. Things are a little too quiet.
"Carter! Wherever you are, bring your ass out here!' I didn't hear anything. I went to the bathroom, then my  room, then finally his room.
"Carter! I've been calling you for over 10 mins, why didn't you listen?" I asked as he was sitting on the floor toward his closet.
"And what are you doing on the floor, we have to be at Mimi's in an hour." I said as I picked him up.
"Wait, mama. I'm talking to Cierra. She's my imaginary friend now. Look." He said pointing his short fat finger towards his closet.
"What? Boy, get up and get your backpack." I said picking him up.

"And get Cierra a chicken fwy."
"OK, Carter. Are you sure this Cierra is not just a lil girl you have a crush on?'
"Mama, stop! Cierra is a friend."
"No, Carter! I'm not spending my money on a lil bitchy ghost. And I don't know if your daddy told u about that, but you need to stop with all that nonsense."
"Mmm-mmm." He pouted.
"Boy, fix ya face." I said as I pulled up to the window.
