"Sir, you have a lunch meeting with Mr. Cardinale today" pagpapaalala sa akin ng bago kong sekretarya

Okay lang kaya siya ngayon?

Today is her first day in her job. And I can't stop thinking if she's doing fine there.

I want to cancel my lunch meeting... because I want to have lunch with my wife.

"Sir?"

Napatigil ako sa paglalaro ko sa pen ko nang mabalik ako sa sarili ko mula sa malalim na pag-iisip. At napatingin ako sa sekretarya ko.

"Got it, Mrs. Torres. You may go now" pagdi-dismiss ko sa kanya

Matapos makalabas ng sekretarya ko... Kinuha ko ang phone ko para tawagan si Nick.

"And would you please, take some pictures of her then send it to me. And buy some food for her lunch... sabihin mong galing kay La"

I sigh after I ended the call.

Susunduin ko nalang siya mamayang hapon. That's the least I can do...

Ibinulsa ko ang phone matapos ko itong matignan.

Agad kong kinuha ulit ang phone ko sa bulsa ko para tignan ulit ito.

Napabuga nalang ako ng hangin nang pangalan ng bestfriend ko ang nakasulat sa screen...

Then, I check my phone again.

"The door is open!" nahihimigan ng inis kong sigaw

"Good afternoon sir" bati ni Nick, pagkapasok niya

"There's no good in my afternoon Mr. Peña. Especially when my employee just drop my call" makahulugan kong sabi sabay nakatingin rito ng seryoso
