I made a snap as I got home.

I walked into the kitchen and both my parents were in their. I sat at the counter and they looked at me
"Hey"
"Hi" they both replied
"How was school?"
"Fine" I shrugged picking an apple from the fruit bowl.
"Who's house have you been at?" Dad asked for the 100th time 🙄
"A friends."
"Yh... who?"
"It's not nice not knowing what's going on innit?" I smiled sarcastically and mum and dad shared a look
"We're just looking out for you" mum said
"So you lots have been arguing for a good week; 2 2'z now, you wanna tag team me?!"
"I'm just wondering where you've been. Don't be rude" dad said
"Well I was at Mason's house if you really wanna know"
Dad raised an eyebrow and then shared a look with mum.
"And yes - we had sex" I smiled
Dad screwed "wait. Who do you think you are?"
"Me? Renae Atlanta Gibson" ✌🏾️
"You ain't allowed to have sex"
"Okay... Well don't you think it's a bit too late for that...?"
He raised an eyebrow "who are you talking to?"
I sighed inwardly and just looked down at my phone
"Renae you're ground-"

"You two argue for a week Yh
Don't tell me anything at all
You even ignored me and so I left the house.
Yh we all agree on that?
You didn't even realise I left when I did and because I had sex, you're gonna ground me. Am I right?"
"I'm grounding you because you're 1) being rude and 2) you had sex when I've clearly told you not to"
I screwed "no"
"Wdym no? You don't have a choice"
"That's not fair. Are you gonna tell me why you were arguing?"
They stayed silent and shared a look.
I rolled my eyes "just ignore me again then" and left and went to my room.
