Kamal's POV
I've been trying to call Kalani since I woke up this morning at 9am and it's about 12pm now so imma go round to check on her.
It's calm, her mums working atm
When I got there, I rang the doorbell and no one answered
I knocked on no one answered
I tried calling her phone and no one answered
I decided to jump the fence that leads into the garden and go through the back door
It was locked 🙃
I was gonna grab a brick and smash the glass but the kitchen window was open so I climbed through there.
I checked all of downstairs and then went up to her room and she weren't in there. Her bed wasn't made and she don't leave her house until making her bed so I knew she was still here.
I left her room and then went to the bathroom and opened the door
"KALANI! I shouted dragging her body outta the water.
She started coughing bare and gasping for air
"Wtf why did you do that?!" She screamed grabbing her towel
I stepped back and just looked and her and she just broke down in tears
I hugged her close to me but she winced so i let go again.
"Kalani" she left the bathroom and walked into her room so I followed behind her.
"Kalani. Why did you do that?" I asked
I legit wanted to cry
"BECAUSE IVE FUCKING HAD ENOUGH KAMAL. IVE HAD E-FUCKING-NOUGH!!!!" She screamed over her tears
"She beat you again?"
She dropped her towel and showed me all her new bruises
"She called me a hoe"
"What?!"
"She said I only went yours to hoe around"
I shook my head
"She started beating me because I told her I got an abortion. I also said that there was no point in you wasting your money if she was just gonna beat the baby outta me"
Word I was trying to to cry at this point
I just have her the biggest hug and she hugged me back
"Kalani don't do anything like that again. Seriously"
She didn't reply
"Please babe. I need you. I got'chu"
She looked up at me and then held her pinky out
"Promise?"
I smiled and kissed her lips wrapping my pinky around hers
"I promise babes"
