Chapter 66

Alice's P.O.V

October 25, 1972

It was about time to start filming for the movie. Since we were almost done recording our new album and we didn't have plans for a new one yet, we went down to Louisiana where the movie was being filmed.

When we got down there, Thomas greeted us at the airport and told us about our living arrangements, which was going to be a hotel for a couple of months. We didn't mind though. We were just happy to be together as a family.

We got settled into our hotel room. It looked more like an apartment though. There was a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms, one for Paul and I, and one for the girls. Mary and Stella were both tired so they were having a nap but Ethel was still very awake. She was sitting on the couch with Paul as he braided her hair. I, on the other hand, had a meeting to attend.

"I should be back in a few hours" I said.

"Alright, love" Paul said. I walked over to him, leaned down and gave him a quick kiss.

"Can I have a kiss too mommy?" Ethel asked

"Of coarse" I said, giving Ethel a kiss. I walked over to the door.

"You two have fun" I said

"We will mommy" Ethel said

"Have fun at your meeting" Paul said

"I'll try" I said. I opened the door and left for my meeting.

When I arrived for the meeting, Thomas was already waiting for me outside.

"Alice! You're right on time!" Thomas said

"Good. I thought I was going to be late. Who wants to be late on their first day?" I said

"That's true. Let's head in. Today you're meeting Guy and Roger" Thomas said. I nodded and we made our way inside. When we got into the meeting room, there were two men inside.

"Alice, I would like you to meet the director, Guy Hamilton and your co-star, Roger Moore" Thomas said. Guy stood up and walked over to me. He grabbed my hand and shook it.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Mrs. McCartney. I'm a big fan of yours, and your husband" Guy said

"Thank you Mr. Hamilton" I said

"Please, call me Guy" he said. Roger then walked over to me.

"It's very nice to meet you Alice" Roger said. I smiled at him.

"You too" I said. Roger took my hand and then kissed it. His gesture made me feel uncomfortable so I pulled my hand away politely.

"How about we get this meeting started?" Guy said. We took our seats and began discussing. During the meeting, I could feel Roger's stare on me. It wasn't just any stare. It was the 'I want you' stare.

The meeting ended and we would officially start filming tomorrow. Just as I was about to leave, Roger stopped me.

"It'll be fun working with you" he said

"I feel the same way. I'll see you tomorrow" I said

"I can't wait" Roger said. He winked at me before walking away. I quickly left and rushed for the hotel. I really needed to talk to Paul.

When I got to the hotel room, I found Paul missing from the living room.

"Paul" I called for him. He came into the room.

"Hi, love. I just tucked Ethel into bed. How was the meeting?" Paul asked.

"It was fine..." I said, trailing off. Paul then looked at me with concern.

"Is everything okay?" Paul asked

"Roger Moore kept staring at me during the meeting. He was looking at me the way you always do" I said. Paul was silent and he stared at me for a moment.

"Did he try to kiss you?" Paul asked.

"No. He just kept staring at me" I said. Paul nodded and wrapped his arms around me.

"If he tries anything with you, you'd tell me, right?" Paul asked

"Of coarse I would" I said

"That's my girl" Paul said, kissing my forehead.

"Can you come with me tomorrow?" I asked

"I'd love to but I have to stay and watch the girls" Paul said

"You can bring them. You can keep them company while I film my scenes. I just don't want to go without because I know if you're there, he won't try anything" I said

"I understand, love. I'd do anything to protect you" Paul said

"I know you would" I said, giving him a kiss. The kiss turned heated real fast and soon we were on the couch, shoving our tongues down each other's throats. We were interrupted by a knock on the door. I went to go and answer it. It was Thomas.

"Hi Thomas" I said

"Hi Alice. May I come in?" he asked. I nodded and let him in.

"So, what brings you by?" I asked

"Well, we want to try and get all your scenes done as soon as we can so we're going to be filming all your scenes first" Thomas said

"Alright. Thanks for letting me know" I wise

"Great. You start tomorrow, and get ready to do a kissing scene" Thomas said. This got Paul's attention and he looks at us.

"Thomas, is it alright if Paul and our girls come tomorrow?" I asked

"I don't see why not" Thomas said

"Thanks. I'll see you tomorrow then" I said

"That you will. Bye Alice. Bye Paul" Thomas said, waving to Paul.

"Bye Thomas. See you tomorrow" Paul said. Thomas then left us alone. The thought of a kissing scene left me feeling very uncomfortable.

"Are you alright, love?" Paul asked, walking over to me.

"I really don't want to do that kissing scene tomorrow. What if Roger goes a little too far with it?" I asked

"I won't let that happen as long as I'm there. If that kiss lasts longer than necessary, I'll swoop in, take you in my arms and give you the most passionate kiss I can give" Paul said. I smiled and cupped his cheek.

"That sounds perfect" I said, pulling him into another kiss. It got heated once again.

"How about we continue where we left of?" Paul said as he grabbed my hand and led me to the bedroom.
