Alice's P.O.V
January 5, 1976
Today, Paul and I, along with the rest of Wings were going to Abbey Road to start recording a new album. Today was also the day I was going to let Ethel babysit for the the first time. She just turned twelve and I feel she's responsible enough.
"What's the emergency number?" I asked
"999" Ethel said
"Good. Do you know where the first aid kit is?" I asked
"Yes mum" she said.
"That's my girl. If you need anything, just call Abbey Road. If George picks up, tell him you want either me or dad" I said
"I know mum" Ethel said. The older she got, the more she spoke with an accent like Paul's.
"You have your daddy's accent, you know that?" I said
"Well, I wasn't raised in America like you were" Ethel said. At that moment, Paul had joined us.
"Love, are you almost ready to go?" he asked.
"Yes. Sweetheart, are you sure you'll be okay with your sisters?" I asked
"Yes mum! Daddy, can you please make her stop?" Ethel asked
"Love, she'll be fine" Paul said
"Oh, could Julian come over as well?" Ethel asked.
"So you two will be alone?" Paul asked
"Not exactly. Mary and Stella are here as well" Ethel said.
"I know but there won't be any adult supervision" Paul said
"Paul, it's just Julian. We can trust him" I said
"Fine, but if I come home to find you two kissing, then I'm going to have a long talk with him" Paul said.
"Thank you daddy!" Ethel said, hugging Paul tightly. "I love you"
"I love you too, baby girl" Paul said. When Ethel let go of Paul, she hugged me.
"I love you mummy" she said.
"I love you too, sweetie" I said.

On the way to Abbey Road, Paul still seemed a bit uncomfortable about Julian and Ethel being alone.
"Are you still thinking about Ethel and Julian?" I asked
"I don't know, maybe. Ethel's still my little girl and the thought of her being alone with a boy just doesn't sit right with me" Paul said
"But this boy is Julian. They've been best friends since they were babies" I said
"I know, I know. I trust Julian. I just don't trust the two of them being alone together. What if we come home and they're having-"
"Okay, I'm going to stop you right there. First of all, Ethel is twelve and Julian is almost thirteen. All they probably think about right now is holding hands. Secondly, they are with Mary and Stella" I said
"Fine. You have a point" Paul said
"I know I do" I said
