Alice and Paul are now happily married. Ethel has officially been adopted by Paul. They also have a new daughter named Mary. Life isn't always easy though. When The Beatles break up, Paul ends up in a hard place. Luckily, Alice is by his side to hel...
It was about an hour away from dinner and I was getting really nervous for it. I mean we were eating with royalty! I walked up to Linda's room and knocked on the door.
"Hang on a moment Joseph" I heard her voice. I heard her footsteps and the door soon opened.
"Alice, come on in. I'm just on the phone with Joseph" Linda said. I stepped inside the room, and Linda closed the door behind her. She walked back over to the phone.
"Sorry hun, that was Alice. She says hi, by the way. Oh, Sweden is wonderful! We're actually staying with the King while we're here. I can't believe it either! Okay, I have to go. Alice needs me. I love you to Joseph. Bye" Linda spoke before hanging up the phone.
"Linda, can you help me with something?" I asked
"Anything" Linda said
"Okay, well the dinner is in an hour, and I'm really nervous. I mean we're eating with a King and his partner" I said
"I know. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it as well" Linda said
"Yes, well anyways, I can't find anything to wear. It's making me nervous because I want to leave a good impression and presentation helps with it" I said
"So you want me to help you find a dress?" Linda said
"Please? That closet is full of them! Besides, I want to wear one that I think Paul would really like" I said
"Of coarse I'll help you. What is his favourite color?" Linda asked
"Blue" I said
"Okay. Let's go find you a dress" Linda said.

Linda helped me find a dress, and was now helping me with the hair and make up to perfect it.
"And I'm done! Look at you! You look absolutely gorgeous" she said. I stood up, and walked over to the mirror. When I saw my reflection, I was in awe.
"Oh my God! I feel like Cinderella!" I said, twirling around.

"You look like Cinderella" Linda said.
"Thanks Lin. Why don't you get ready and head off to dinner? I'll be there soon" I said
"Alright" Linda said. She left the room, leaving my to myself. I looked at my reflection and smiled again.
I truly feel like a princess.

When I had made my way to dinner, I noticed that everyone was already seated. The only person I noticed missing was Paul. Laura was the first to look in my direction.
"Woah! Did Cinderella just jump out of a fairytale book or is it my dear sister?" she said. That's when everyone else looked my way. Everyone stared at me in awe. Even the King and Silvia couldn't stop staring.
"Wow, Alice. You look stunning!" Denny complemented me.
"Absolutely beautiful!" Arthur said.
"Oh, thank you boys. Does anyone know where my husband is?" I asked
"I think Paul went looking for you" Helen said.
"Well now he won't have to because he's coming over" Linda said.
"Alice, there you are! I've been looking for you" I heard Paul's voice. I turned around to face him. He stared at me with wide eyes and an open mouth.
"Is something wrong Paul?"
"N-no. You just... you just look beautiful. So incredibly beautiful" he said
"Thank you" I said, grabbing his hand. He smiled and brought my hand up to his lips so he could gently kiss it. We went to join the others at the table.
"Now, that we're all present, Silvia and I'd like to make an announcement" the King said. Both he and Silvia stood.
"Angels, again we'd like to thank you for stopping in Sweden" the King said
"And as apart of our thanks, we have a favour to ask of you. Next year, Gustaf and I plan to marry. We would like you girls to perform at our wedding" Silvia said. I swear I almost choked on my own breath.
"R-really?" I said
"Of coarse" the King said.
"Well, if you really want us to, then we will" I said.
"Oh thank you! Now, let dinner begin" Silvia said.

After dinner, Paul and I went back to our room.
"I can't believe I'm going to be singing at a royal wedding!" I said
"I'm so proud of you, love" Paul said.
"What will we perform for them? I need to start thinking of the perfect song" I said
"And you will, love, but first, how about my queen and I share a dance?" Paul said.
"There isn't even any music playing" I said.
"We don't need any music, love" I said. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled my close to him. We began to sway back and forth.
"You're my dancing queen" Paul said.
"Wait, say that again" I said
"What? Dancing queen?" Paul said
"Dancing queen. I think it goes well together. Don't you?" I said
"I suppose it does" Paul said. I smiled and started humming a random tune that popped in my head. Soon, words were popping into my brain.
"You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life" I sang. Paul smiled at me.
"See? Who needs music when you're here to provide it" Paul said.
"Oh shut up and kiss me" I said. He leaned in and pressed a kiss to my lips.

Our time in Sweden had come to an end, and we were onto our next destination. Ever since Paul brought up the phrase, dancing queen has not left my head.
"See that girl, watch that scene, digging the dancing queen" I sang to myself. I wrote the words in my song journal.
"Working on a song already?" Linda asked
"Can you tell me what you think of it?" I said, giving her the journal. Linda took it and looked it over.
"I like it. What made you think of dancing queen?" Linda asked
"Paul put the words in my head, and ever since then they've been stuck in there like a catchy song" I said
"We could make it into a catchy song" Linda said
"And maybe it could be the one we perform at the wedding"
