Our first show of our world tour was only two hours away. Ethel was sitting with me in the dressing room as I was doing my make up.
"Can I put on your eyeliner for you?" she asked me. I looked at her through the mirror and smiled.
"Of course you can, sweetie" I said. I turned around and gave her the eyeliner. She applied it with gentle strokes.
"How long is the tour going to be?"
"With any luck, it'll take about a year. Hopefully we finish by December. Maybe even early January" She just nodded and finished applying the eyeliner. I looked at myself in the mirror. "Wow. Maybe you could be my make up artist for my next movie"
"You already know what it's going to be?"
"Yes. Thomas called me about another musical. It's called Grease and I'm going to be playing Sandy. Filming doesn't start until next year"
"Does daddy know?"
"Yes. He was the first one I told. That's why we want to try to finish the tour within the year" At that moment, Laura barged into the dressing room. She was dressed in her performance attire.

"Good. You're not dressed yet. Put this on. Mom gave them to me before I left, along with some other outfits" Laura said. She threw the jumpsuit to me. It was the same but with purple stripes instead of blue.

"I only wear these when Angels perform. I have a whole other wardrobe for Wings" I explained.
"Paul didn't tell you? There's a reason he invited me, y'know. This tour doubles as a Wings and Angels tour"

It was almost time for us to go on stage. I met up with Paul and Linda backstage. Linda was wearing the same outfit as I was.
"Do we know what we're opening with?" Paul asked me.
"Venus and Mars. Don't worry. I remember the setlist we came up with. The first Angels song we perform is Ring Ring" I said.
"Speaking of Angels, where are Helen and Laura?" Linda asked. As if I'm cue, they joined in accompanied by Ethel and Denny. Ethel was holding onto Laura's hand and Denny had his hand around Helen's waist. She was wearing the same thing as Laura.
"Alice, we had a question. That song you've been working on, is it done yet?" Helen asked.
"You mean Dancing Queen? I have the lyrics but the music for it isn't done yet" I explained.
"That's too bad. I was hoping we could debut it tonight" I thought for a moment.
"I can't promise anything tonight but I could have something ready within the next week"
"I already know that it'll be a number one hit" Paul said, giving me a smile and a wink. I shook my head at him and then notice we were given the 'it's time' signal.
"Alright guys. Let's kick off this tour with a bang!" I said enthusiastically. I turned to look at Ethel. "You know to stay here, right?"
"Yes mum. You guys are gonna rock tonight" she said. We all lined up in the order we were to enter. First, the members of Wings walked onto stage and then the girls. Paul and I grabbed hands and then looked to each other.
"Ready, love?" he asked me.
"Ready" I replied. We kissed each other before walking out on stage.

Our first show turned out amazing. Joe English and Laura sounded great on the drums together. Helen and Paul doubled on the bass together. Denny and Jimmy McCulloch doubles on the guitar. Linda and I played the keyboard together. The girls knew Wings songs by heart and the boys knew Angels songs. We ended the show with Live and Let Die, and we received a standing ovation.
"WE WERE ON FIRE!" Laura screamed once we got backstage. She was right beside me when she did that.
"You're shouting!" I said
"I'M SORRY! I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"
"Joe, I think you made her deaf" Paul commented.
"Nope. She was the loud one" Joe said. He gave Laura a pat on the back.
"Where's our daughter?" I asked Paul. He looked around for her. It took him by surprise when she came up from behind and hugged him.
"You guys were awesome! I think one day I wanna make music like you guys do" Ethel said. Paul smiled and began stroking her hair.
"How about one of these days you come up on stage with us?" Paul suggested. Ethel's eyes lit up at the suggestion.
"Really!? Could I mummy!?" she asked.
"If you really want to then yeah" I said.
"Yes! I want to play the keyboard with momma Linda. I know all the songs!"
"I'd be honoured to have you play with me" Linda said. Ethel squealed in excitement again before she yawned.
"Someone's tired" Helen commented. Right after she said that, she yawned and put her head on Denny's shoulder.
"I think we all are. We should get to the hotel and get some sleep so we can wake up early and head to Bristol tomorrow" Denny said.
"Daddy, can you carry me?" Ethel asked. She held her arms open and Paul picked her up. She may have been twelve but he picked her up with ease. Laura walked over to me and jumped on my back.
"Hey, what are you doing?" I asked
"I'm tired too" she said.
"Fine but I'm only carrying you out to the limo. You can walk yourself back into the hotel"

Back at the hotel, Ethel was pretty much passed out at this point. Paul gently placed her on her bed, tucked her under the covers and kissed her forehead. Ethel smiled.
"Goodnight, little one" he whispered to her. Afterwards, he climbed into bed with me.
"She's twelve and you still call her little one?" I asked.
"She'll always be my little one, even when she's in her forties" Paul wrapped his arms around me, and held me close. "Just like you'll always be my sexy wife"
"Goodnight Paul" I said, pressing a kiss to his lips. I let my eyes close as I heard him whisper to me.
