Alice's P.O.V

March 6, 1974

We returned to London three days after the Grammy Awards. I couldn't wait to see my girls. I missed them so much. When we got off the plane, Paul and I were the first to grab our luggage. Now we were waiting for Linda, Laura, Helen and Denny.

"Alright. I'll go call a couple cabs to take us all home" Paul said.

"Don't be too long otherwise I'll miss you too much" I said. Paul smiled and pressed a sweet kiss to my lips.

"I'll try not to be too long. I love you" he said.

"I love you too" I said. He went off to go find a phone. As soon as Paul was gone, Linda walked up to me.

"I'm glad to be back in London. Hopefully we can relax a bit" Linda said

"Yeah, and then we have to finish our album" I said. Linda was about to open her mouth to say something but someone called her name.

"My Lovely Linda!"

We both turned to see Joseph and the children with him. Linda smiled and ran to him. She trapped him in a hug and kisses him.

"Honey, what are you doing here?" Linda asked.

"I came to be with you. I can't stand being away from you for too long. Plus, this kids were missing you" Joseph said. Linda let go of Joseph and then gave all the kids a hug.

"Wait, where's Lindsay?" Linda asked. Louise joined us with Lindsay in her arms.

"There you are sis. It's good to see you again. Hi Alice. Saw all of you on the Grammys. You were amazing, all of you!" Louise said.

"Thanks. What are you doing here?" Linda asked.

"Joseph needed some help so he called me, plus I wanted to meet new niece" Louise said.

"Well, can I see my little angel? I missed her so much" Linda said. Louise nodded and gave Lindsay to Linda.

"Lindsay, I'd like you to meet your Auntie Alice" Linda said.

"Hi Lindsay. Oh, she's beautiful Lin" I said. Paul came back around the same time that Laura, Helen and Denny joined us.

"Hey, this group is bigger than we left" Laura said.

"Kids, give Laura a hug" Linda said. Heather, Alex, Josie, Leo and Louise all gave her a hug.

"Aww, I love you guys too" Laura said. When they let go of her, they all huddled around Linda and Joseph.

"Joseph and Louise, what are you doing here?" Paul asked

"We were missing Linda so we decided to fly out" Joseph said.

"I figured I might as well tag along, y'know" Louise said.

"Well it's great that you guys are here" Paul said.

"Thanks. Has Lindsay met her Uncle Paul yet?" Joseph asked.

"No she hasn't. I'd love to though" Paul said. Linda walked over to Paul with Lindsay.

"This is Lindsay. Meet your Uncle Paul, Lindsay" Linda said

"Hi Lindsay. It's nice to meet you" Paul said. Joseph walked over to us.

"How about we all catch up when we get to the house?" Jospeh suggested.

"I agree. Our rides should be here soon anyways. Besides, I miss our girls" Paul said.

"Me too" I said

Helen and Denny decided to head home for a bit and then come for a visit. Laura decides to head home with us for a bit. First, we had to stop at my parents house to pick up the girls.

"Do your mum and dad know we'd be returning tonight?" Paul asked, as we approached the door.

"No. I wanted to surprise them" I said. I grabbed the spare key to unlock the door when I heard music coming from inside. I smiled and pressed my ear to the door.

"What is it, love?" Paul asked. I quietly shushed him and listened to the singing voices of my parents and daughters. They were listening to Ring Ring and singing along.

"Why is Alice's ear pressed against the door?" I heard Linda ask.

"I have no idea" Paul said.

"They're having a party" I said.

"Maybe we should crash it" Laura said as she caught up to us.

"Aren't you going to open the door, love?" Paul asked.

"I'm waiting for just the right moment" I said. When I heard the chorus approaching, I slowly turned the key. Just as the chorus came on, I opened the door and burst into song.

"Ring, Ring, why don't you give me a call!"

"Mommy!" my three girls practically screamed. They ran to me and trapped me in a group hug.

"You're back!" Ethel said

"We missed you!" Mary said

"Mommy! Mommy!" Stella said.

"Aww, I missed you girls too" I said. Paul came on with a smile on his face.

"What about me? Does daddy not get any hugs?" Paul said. The girls let go of me and ran to their dad.

"That's my girls. Mommy and I missed you so much" Paul said. When Mary and Stella let go of him, Ethel was still holding on to him tightly.

"I missed you a lot daddy. I don't like it when you and mommy are away for long" Ethel said.

"I know" Paul said, protectively wrapping his arms around her. I stared at them with a smile until my parents spoke to me.

"We saw you on t.v" dad said.

"You girls were so wonderful. You had the girls dancing along" Mabel said.

"I'm glad they enjoyed it. Where's baby Bessie?" I asked. When Mabel gave birth, she had a girl and decided to name her after my mother.

"Sleeping upstairs" Mabel said. When I looked behind me, I noticed that Linda, Joseph, Laura, Louise and the other children had come in.

"There's our other daughter! Get over her here for a hug" Mabel said. Laura smiled and walked over to mom and dad. They both hugged her.

"You too Linda" dad said. Linda joined in on the hug. Their hug lasted for a minute then hey all let go of each other.

"Where's Helen? We were hoping to give her a hug as well" Mabel said

"She and Denny wanted to go home for a bit" I said.

"I see. Now that you're all home, how about we all go out for a celebratory dinner" dad said.

"Oh dad, you don't have to do that" I said. Dad smiled and placed his hands on my shoulders.

"But we want to. We're so proud of you Alice. We're proud of all four of you. We want this dinner to be in honor of the four of you" dad said.

"Alright then. Thanks daddy" I said. He pressed a kiss to my forehead. Boy, was I glad to be home.
