Alice's P.O.V
January 1, 1973
The very next day, Paul and I decided to head home. We decided we were going to stay in London for a couple of days and then go back to Scotland. George offered to drive us home. He was helping Paul with our bags. I had the girls with me, saying our goodbyes to Pattie.
"Are you sure you don't want to stay a few more days?" Pattie asked
"We're sure. The tension between Paul and John is still really awkward and high so it's best we go home" I said
"Well, come and visit us anytime you want" Pattie said
"We will Pattie" I said. She smiled and hugged me.
"Ethel and Mary, you be good role models for your sister, okay? Take care of her" Pattie said
"We will Aunt Pattie" Ethel said. Pattie hugged Ethel and Mary. She then looked at Stella.
"It was nice seeing you again Stella. I'll see you soon, okay?" Pattie said. She then kissed Stella's forehead. Stella grinned at her in return. We were soon joined by Paul and George.
"Love, all the bags are in the car, and Martha and Flower are patiently waiting for us" Paul said
"Alright" I said.
"I'll take the girls to the car" George offered.
"Okay. Ethel and Mary, follow Uncle George please" I said.
"Okay mommy" both of them said. I gave Stella to George and then he stepped outside with the girls following behind him.
"Pattie, thanks again for having us over" Paul said
"It was our pleasure. We're just a bit sad that you're leaving so early" Pattie said
"I know but it's really awkward between me and-" Paul didn't finished his sentence as he locked eyes with John. They stared at each other for a moment before John spoke.
"Leaving so soon?"
"Yeah" Paul said.
"Well, it was good to see you again" John said in unsure tone.
"It was" Paul mumbled. John started walking towards him. I gave Paul a small push so he would move closer to John, which he eventually did. They were now face to face.
"I'm really sorry Paul" John said.
"I'm sorry too" Paul said. Then they hugged each other. I smiled at the sight in front of me. They may not have said much to each other but they did apologize and now they were hugging.
"Is it alright if I give Alice a goodbye hug?" John asked. Paul looked at me and then at John again.
"I suppose that would be alright" Paul said. I walked over to them and I was immediately pulled into a hug by John.
"I'm sorry Alice" John said
"Apology accepted" I said.
"I've noticed Jules and Ethel. Is she going to be my daughter-in-law someday?" John asked
"You never know" I said. I heard George honking for Paul and I.
"You two better go" John said.
"Bye John" Paul and I both said.
"Bye you two" John said. With that, Paul and I left the house and made our way to the car. Paul got in the front while I got in the back with the girls.
"What took you two so long?" George asked
"Just saying goodbye to a really good friend" Paul said

George dropped Paul and I off at home. He offered to take the girls to get some ice cream and we couldn't refuse. After getting our bags from the car and making sure that Martha and Flower were in the house, we watched as George drove off with the girls.
"How long do you think they'll be?" Paul asked
"Probably an hour" I said.
"So we have an hour to ourselves then?" Paul said, leaning in close so that our noses were touching.
"I suppose we do" I said. I pressed a kiss to his lips. We continued kissing each other until I pulled away,
"I'm really proud of you Paul. You talked to John and you hugged each other" I said
"I may never get the chance to see him again and I'm glad I talked to him again because if I decided wanted to later, it might be too late" Paul said. I smiled and kissed him again.
"Paul, how long are we going to stay in Scotland?" I asked
"The album is released in America in April and in the UK in May. We're going to have to do press conferences" Paul said
"The movie is released in June for America and in July for the UK. I'll have to attend the premieres" I said
"I'm planning to start our tour in May and the new album in August" Paul said
"So we're in Scotland until April?" I asked
"Yes. We'll come back to London after your birthday" Paul said
"I'm going to be thirty" I said.
"You're still as beautiful as you were when you were twenty" Paul said
"This year is our ten year anniversary of meeting each other" I said
"It is. We're going to have to do something really special" Paul said
"Paul, it's not like it's our wedding anniversary. It's only the day we met each other" I said
"That day is very special to me. I remember the very moment I laid eyes on you" Paul said
"You do?" I asked
"Yes. As soon as our eyes met, I fell so hard for you. It was love at first sight. I thought you were the most beautiful girl in the world. I was determined to make you mine. Then later when Joseph proposed to you, I was heartbroken but I made it my goal to sweep you off your feet" Paul said
"And you did. I fell in love with you after you kissed me. I remember how soft your lips were and how good they felt against mine. I felt so many fireworks. I knew you were the one for me after that kiss" I said
"And now look at us. Married with three beautiful girls, hopefully another McCartney on the way soon" Paul said
"We'll have another child soon. I promise" I said
"You want to try making one right now?" Paul asked
"I'd love to" I said. With that, we made our way to the bedroom.
