You and Harry haven't been on the best terms lately. He would always go out early in the morning and come back at around midnight.

You and your 7 year old son, Bailey missed Harry a lot. He's changed. He doesn't spend as much time as he used to with you and Bailey.

You don't want Bailey to grow up without his father being around. That's one thing that you're worried about.

Your son would always question where Harry is and if he still loves you two.. It breaks your heart to hear your son say this. And it breaks your heart that you don't know if Harry still does.

You would always find yourself silently crying yourself to sleep, every night when Harry is out doing who knows what. You weren't happy and neither was Bailey.

He would always suspect something is wrong from your tear stained cheeks when you wake up in the morning. But you would just say that you had some hay fever and your eyes were itchy.

Tonight, Harry is staying home for once. Well, not for long.

"Come on, bed time now." Harry says picking up Bailey.

He carries him to his room and sets him on his bed.

"Dad?"

"Yeah, buddy?"

"Can you please promise me something?" Bailey asks Harry.

"Of course, what is it?" Harry says kneeling down to him.

"Can you promise me to not hurt Mom?" He says.

Harry's eyes grow wide.

"I would never hurt your Mom. You know that." Harry says taking Bailey's hands in his.

"But it seems like you are." Bailey replies blankly.

Harry blinks back.

"W-What do you mean?"

"She's always crying when you're gone. I can hear her during the night." He says.

Harry doesn't say anything. He feels his heart start to ache knowing that he made his beautiful girl upset.

"Please don't hurt her. Don't hurt here anywhere. Especially over here." Bailey says laying his tiny index finger on Harry's chest.

Tears well up in Harry's eyes.

He picks up Bailey and tucks him into bed before kissing his hair and turning the light off.

"Y/N?" He whispers quirky entering your shared bedroom.

"Yes Harry?" You say putting your book that you were just reading down.

"I love you. You know that, right?" Harry chokes out.

You haven't heard him say that in a long long time since he's been quite distant from you lately.

You swallow hard before nodding.

He walks up to you and takes your hands in his.

He connects his lips with yours. God, you missed his lips. It's been way to long since you two kissed.

"I'm sorry babe. I'm so so sorry for being so distant from you. I'm sorry that I've been so selfish for this last couple of weeks. I only thought about myself, and not the two people I care most about. You and Bailey. All I did was think about myself and what I want to do. Which was drink and go party. Which clearly wasn't important because I have a family I need to love and care for. I'm so sorry for being an idiot." Harry says as a tear slips down his cheek.

"Bailey told me that you've been crying every night while I was gone. He thought I'd hurt you, which I did. Accidentally though. He asked me to promise him to never hurt you, and I promised." He adds.

You feel tears burn the back of your eyes as they threaten to spill.

"From now on, no more going out and leaving you two alone in the house." He says kissing your forehead.

"I-I love you Harry." You say quietly.

He pulls you close so your body is pressing against his.

"I love you too baby. I love you more than you'll ever know."

Harry kept his promise of never hurting you. He never really meant to hurt you, but when Bailey told him, he realised what he's done.

Harry only went out for a couple drinks every month. You keep on saying that he doesn't have to go to the bar every month, instead he can go to the bar every couple weeks. But he would always shake his head and say that he has to be with you and Bailey.

He did whatever it took to make sure that you and your son were living in a safe and happy environment. He also always made sure to not come home drunk whenever he went out.

Harry kept his promise. And he forever will.
