First Semester

Over the last couple days I've been on edge, I was supposed to be getting my test results back today and on top of that me and Samuel were still in an awkward place, but at least I had Ky to keep me from going insane. New Years was coming up so in a couple days we were planning to go out and party so no matter what the test results said I wasn't going to let anything stop me from having a good time. I got out of my bed and walked out into the living room where Gio and Jeremy were laying on the couch watching a movie, Papi was in the kitchen making some breakfast with Quinton. I sat at the table and waited for Samuel to call me letting me know he was ready, but after an hour it became clear that hid deadbeat ass wasn't going to call so I decided to just go see Kyrese.

"Where you going Jayden?" Gavin asked as I was walking out and he was walking in, then I got an idea. "Whatever it is no..... and I know you're about to ask me something and whatever is I'm not doing it."

"I was just going to ask you to grab me a couple of bottles, please Gavin you're the only person I can ask to do this for me." I asked smiling and Gavin shook his head before walking into the house, I'd give him about three hours before he finally relented which gave me some time to go see Ky and get my results. When I pulled up to Kyrese's place Samuel decided to finally call and a part of me wanted to ignore him, but I really wanted to hear what excuse he came up with now.

"My bad Jay, I got caught up doing some work but I promise to make it up to you." He said as soon as I answered the phone.

"It's cool Samuel, I was busy anyways." I said knowing it pissed him off when I called him by his real name. "Look I got some stuff I gotta handle I'll call you and we can set something up." I said knowing I probably wouldn't.

"Aight that sounds like I plan, I'll talk to you lat..." I hung up before I could hear another lie out his mouth. I got in my car and went to pick up Ky and said a silent prayer that this test was negative..........

"Jayden just open the damn results, because you're making me nervous as fuck." Kyrese said looking at me. We sat outside the doctor's office and I had been holding the envelope with my test result for like twenty minutes, fuck it I ripped open the paper and my eyes searched for one word....... I let out a huge sigh of relief and past the paper to Ky.

"I swear this has been the most stressful wait of my life, but I'm glad it's over." I said looking at Ky who read the paper about three times. "Ky, the words aren't going to change it clearly says I'm ne......" Kyrese pressed his lips to mine and if I hadn't been sitting I probably would've passed out, the taste of his lips were sinful, he pulled away and looked in my eyes.

"You wanna go back to my place?" Ky asked.

"Umm...... I thought we were going to get something eat?" I asked and Kyrese looked at me like I was stupid. "What you ain't hungry? The whole time we were waiting all you were talking about was going to get something to eat......" I said and Ky shook his head and laughed as if I was a hopeless case.

"Jayden made I should reframe my last statement........ Jayden let's go back to my house and f....." Kyrese phone cut him off blasting some loud as trap music. Kyrese rolled his eyes, and answered the phone the call was short but Kyrese hung up looking pissed. "Ayy I gotta go to this meeting at the frat house you mind dropping me off?" I nodded my head and I couldn't help but notice he seemed disappointed, that was confirmed when he got out my car and didn't even say bye.

The whole day I was trying to figure out what his problem was, I mean it was like he flipped one second he was coo the next he was pissed. I sat on the couch while Gio and Papi prepared to leave, I guess they were doing a double date which left me here alone.

"Jay I know you're not going to sit here by yourself? I mean you're more than welcome to come out with us.... maybe you can invite Kyrese, unless you wanna sit here and drink that bottle Gavin dropped off." Gio said.
