I look at Gavin wondering what the fuck he wanted then I noticed how he was staring at Jeremy and saw the anger and hate in his eyes. One thing Gavin hated more than my choice of lifestyle was any dude that I tried to talk to, he was extremely protective of me and a little controlling......... I move from under his arm and walked over to Jeremy, quietly asking him to go back inside and wait for me. I knew with his mouth and Gavin's temper that these two being this close together was a recipe for disaster, Jeremy looked at Gavin one more time in an almost protective way before walking away. I turned back to Gavin who had a satisfied smirk on his face after staring into each others eyes for about ten seconds I punched him hard as fuck in the chest, causing him to take a few steps back and naturally his frat brothers rushed to his defense but Gavin waved them off.

"Relax y'all my little brother is just trying to show off...... give us some space real quick." Gavin said and they reluctantly walked away leaving me with Gavin. "I'll let you have that one since I kinda blocked on you...... who was your friend?" He asked nodding his head towards the restaurant.

"Does it matter Gav? You're going to try your hardest to scare him off anyways, so I think it's best if I don't give you his name." I said seriously.

"I'm offended Gio..... do you really think I would do that to you?" Gavin asked pretending like he was hurt.

"Do I have to go down the list? Aaron......" I said looking at him.

"In my defense I was right about Aaron." Gavin said, true but still......

"Okay what about....."

"Gio look if those dudes you dated couldn't look passed my charming personality then obviously they weren't serious about dating you. I just want you to be happy and I'm going to spend the rest of my life weeding out any dude I feel isn't good enough to date my little brother. Everything I do, I do it with good intentions Gio." Gavin said.

"'The road to hell is paved with good intentions', you taught me that when I was younger Gav. Do me a favor Gav and stay out of my love life." I said walking away. I got back in the restaurant and looked at Jeremy. "Ayy come take a walk with me." I said and Jeremy got up.

"So that was your brother?" Jeremy asked lacing his fingers through mine and my insides warmed up.

"Yeah he's a dick...... but the reason I asked you to take a walk with me was mostly because I wanted to spend some alone time with you away from everyone. I also wanted to pick your brain about what you wanted to do for our first official date." I said smiling at him.

"Well....... I usually do a movie and dinner, but I wanna try something different. So whatever you feel is best I'll be fine with, just as long as it's not some musty, sweaty club I'm good." Jeremy said. "Will you be picking me up for our date?"

"Of course at exactly eight....." I said looking at him. Jeremy stopped walking and I looked at him confused. "Are you al....." Before I could finish Jeremy kissed me and it felt like I was seeing for the first time, colors became sharper, sounds became clearer and the night became brighter.

"I just felt we should get that out the way, we got interrupted twice today and I didn't want things to be awkward later........ let's get back to the restaurant." Jeremy said and I walked back with a smile on my face.

"Jeremy let's get out of here before I kill him." Quinton said meeting us at the door. I looked over at the table and saw that Papi was pissed so I kinda put the pieces together.

"What happened?" Jeremy asked and Quinton pulled him away quickly, I wanted to chase after them but changed my mind. I walked over to the table and looked at Papi and Jayden, then echo the question Jeremy just asked; 'what happened?'"

"I just told that dude he was a little extra and he spazzed on me, we started arguing and y'all showed up." Papi said.

"Nah this nigga gave Papi the business, he went from cussing him out in English then switched it up to horrible Spanish, then back to English while Papi just sat here looking stupid." Jayden said laughing.

"Whatever Jayden, I don't like that nigga Quinton like I said; he's too extra and he talks too damn much I was close to beating his ass but I didn't wanna ruin Gio's little date. So what's going on with you and Jeremy?" Papi asked.

"Don't worry about that but listen I'm going to need you to take me to pick up my baby tomorrow, me and Jeremy are going on a date Friday and I need my car." I said thinking about my most prized possession.

"Hold up...... you...... I mean...... we've only been in your car once and you know this dude less than 48 hours and you're already letting him ride in your car. That's fucked up Gio, I don't even think you let Aaron ride in that car and you were in love with that nigga." Jayden said pissed.

"Are you done?" I asked and Jayden nodded. "Good things with Jeremy just feel different and I want that night to be special, so quit being a hater." I said quietly.

"Fuck you Gio, I'm out I got this young lady I'm meeting with...... her name is Taylor, she's a masseuse." Jayden said smirking. I didn't even wanna know, we paid our bill and walked out to Papi's car as we were walking out I saw Jeremy and Quinton still standing by the car.

"Hold up y'all...." I said running over to them and looked at them. "Jeremy I was wondering if you wanted to get some breakfast tomorrow, I know we have a date planned for Friday but......." I trailed off because I was lost in his eyes.

"I would love too." Jeremy said we stood there gazing into each others eye and I found myself really wanting to kiss him again but stopped myself because I was afraid that if we kissed again I wouldn't let him leave.

"Umm....... well I'll hit you up later and tell you where to meet me." I said looking at him one more time before I started to walk away slowly.

"Can I at least get a hug?" Jeremy said and I walked back towards him wrapping him in my arms. I swear Jeremy fit into my arms perfectly, like two pieces of a puzzle or two Legos. We stood like that for eternity or at least it felt that way......

"Aight Jeremy that's enough of all that I'm trying to get back to my dorm and turn on Aaliyah before my roommates starts playing his whack as country music." Quinton said interrupting us.

"I'll definitely be calling you later, so you better pick up." I said staring into his eyes, Jeremy winked before getting into the car with Quinton and pulling off.

"Boy I'm not psychic or anything like that..... but I can tell you and that boy got something going on and if not then it's going to happen REAL soon." Jayden said as I approached the car. "Now let's go, before I miss my appointment." He said pulling me to the car.

"Oh my god GIO!!!!" A voice said from behind me, I had to fight to keep the vomit raising to my throat as I turned around to see my ex Aaron running towards me. What the fuck man? He tried to hug me but I backup. "Unh-uh don't act brand new because you're in college now Gio, remember I'm the one who took your virginity." Aaron said smirking while his friends laughed in the back.

"Trust me I'm still the same dude that you dated in high school. I'm also the same dude that you broke up with, I'm just trying to figure out why you're here when I could've sworn you were in hair school." I said.

"What I'm not allowed on campus? I guess you didn't want me to see you walking around with your new boyfriend....... but I'll play nice for now it was good seeing you Gio, I'm sure we'll be seeing each other again real soon." Aaron said walking away laughing. Great on top of dealing with Gavin and his over protectiveness now I have to deal with Aaron, I shook my head I wasn't going to let either one of them ruin my chances of getting to know Jeremy................
