Courtney's P.O.V

I followed Samantha as she walked behind the wolves, not even knowing where they were heading. Though it seemed as if they wanted us to follow them, so we did. Man, we are just making such good choices today. Or not. Might as well follow a wild pack of wolves deeper into the woods that we had no idea how to get out of. "We shouldn't be following them Samantha." I spoke quietly, wondering what had gotten into her. Usually she was very hesitant about everything but for some reason she was drawn in by the wolves. Especially the one with the jet black nose. I am not sure why but something seemed awfully familiar about all of this. I just wanted to get out of these woods as soon as I could. I had a bad feeling about this.

But at the same time, I felt oddly safe but not really, I was so confused at this point. Why was Seoul full of the weirdest things? So far, since I have lived here, I have met many weird people and I have seen many weird things. The overall experience was just weird. As we continued to walk through the woods, it continued to get darker. It was starting to get late and it seemed as if we were now a lot deeper into the woods. Sometimes I really missed how things were back in America. Back when things were much less complicated.

Samantha said nothing for a while, she was still focused on the wolves in front of us. I decided not to speak up because she seemed very focused. Wolves were her favorite animals so it didn't really surprise me. The only thing that really surprised me was the fact that we were able to walk so closely to these wolves without them attacking or eating us. That was the weirdest thing of all. They seemed awfully calm. I continued to think about things before I looked up as something pushed me aside. I looked over to see one of the wolves, he had pushed me out of the way. I hadn't even realized that I had almost ran into a tree branch.

I petted the wolf before he walked faster to catch up with his pack. I smiled a bit, still amazed by all of this. Before I knew it, we were now out of the woods and back onto the main road that was close to our neighborhood. I guess this had been where the wolves were trying to take us. I turned around when Samantha spoke up. "Where did they go?" She looked around frantically, now having a frown on her face. "I don't know, maybe they just ran off." I answered. "Yeah, I guess so." She said as she started to mope along, holding her head down as she walked.

We continued to walk up the road to our neighborhood not saying much to each other, seeing as she was still upset about the wolves. As I walked, everything had felt familiar. The memories of that night in the alleyway were starting to flood back into my mind. I thought again about how that group of boys left us with the hooded figures Tao, Kris and Luhan. Then I thought about how the boys from school, EXO, showed up and saved us as we were about to be killed by those men. Before I knew it, we were already back in our neighborhood, the sky now being pitch black so that it was hard to see my house. It was a starless night, though the moon was still out. The moon was the only thing that caused me to be able to see ahead of me.

"Why don't you stay the night at my house?" I heard Samantha ask, pulling me out of my thoughts. "Sure." I agreed as I followed her to her front door and into her house. Our parents were out for some kind of business meeting so it wasn't really a problem for me to stay over. Then again, our families knew each other so well, it wouldn't matter if we planned it at last second anyways. As soon as we made it in the house, I ran towards the living room and jumped on the couch. I was too exhausted from all of the walking, I didn't feel like I could stand up anymore. "So, are we going to discuss the thing?" Samantha said as she sat down next to me on the couch. I was too busy wondering why she had said it so quietly when we were in her house.

It wasn't as if someone was just listening in on the conversation. "What?" I managed to speak up, still confused about the situation. "You know, the woods, the wolves!" She said, explaining herself. "Oh that." I said, now understanding. "Yeah that." She said as she rolled her eyes at me. "What about that?" I asked. "Oh my god, the wolves. Did you see how tame they were? I just can't, they were too cute! Wolves are so my favorite animal." She said as she smiled widely at me.
