Fourty Two

Courtney's POV:

As WinWin carried me up the stairs, things started to blur. I kept taking deep breaths and tried to ignore the pain but nothing worked. "It's okay, it will only last a bit longer." I heard him whisper before I felt his soft lips on my forehead. "Take me to my room please." I hummed softly to him. "We're here Courtney, it's okay." He said, walking into the room and slowly placing me on the bed. I looked into his eyes, feeling my heart beat faster than it ever had before. I noticed a sudden flash of pink in his eyes as he looked back at me.

I wanted to ask him about it since I had never seen that happen but someone else spoke up across the room, making me turn my attention to them. "So what am I suppose to do?" It was Taeil, I sighed and rolled my eyes, laying my head back against my pillow. "We'll be outside the door, I'll let you rest." WinWin said. Taeil rushed out but before WinWin could go, I grabbed onto his arm, stopping him from walking any further. "Please stay here with me." I muttered, closing my eyes.

"You need rest, this is all a very painful process-" he said before I cut him off. "Please, don't leave me here alone." I pouted, opening my eyes to look up at him. "Okay okay, I'll stay with you." He said, letting go of me for a moment, shutting the door. He started to take a seat in the chair next to my bed, making me sad. I wanted him next to me more than I ever had. "WinWin...can you cuddle me?" I asked shyly, as if we had never done that before. He blushed and stood up, making his way to the bed.

I watched as he lifted up the cover lightly and laid down next to me. I grabbed his hand and put it around my waist, looking up at him as I did it. "So..." he blushed, looking away from my eyes as I got closer to him, slowly losing control over myself. "Kiss me." I suddenly said. He looked up at me with wide eyes. "Courtney your hormones are going to be a bit crazy when you first turn-" he smiled and tried to explain but I didn't want him to, not right now.

"Kiss me WinWin." I said again. He laughed slightly, seeing how needy I was. "Courtney, you need rest." He said. "WinWinnie, please...kiss me already. I need you." I begged him as I lightly rubbed his arm, making his face red. "O-okay" he said. He slowly leaned forward and held onto me tighter. I closed my eyes and soon felt his soft lips against mine. I kissed him back deeply while we continued to get closer to one another. "Is that okay?" He said, really wanting to let me rest.

I kissed him again before answering him. "Not enough." I whispered. He began kissing me again and slowly grasped my thigh, pulling my leg up onto his. "We really shouldn't be doing this...the other's a right downstairs, Taeil is out the door...what if someone comes in and sees you not resting? I'll get in trouble." He said in between kisses. "I need more of you." I breathed out, never feeling these deep feelings before. Maybe this is what he meant by my hormones being crazy.

"W-what do you mean more of me?" He said nervously. I slowly made my way onto his lap, straddling him. "Courtney it's your hormones talking..." he said, though he grasped my sides. "Do you not want me too?" I whispered to him as I began kissing his neck while grinding against him slightly. "God, I have always wanted you but now isn't the right time, you won't remember any of this later." He said, holding back moans. I frowned as he picked me up off of his lap, placing me back down in the bed.

"Please rest...for me." He said. He kissed my forehead and pulled me into his chest. "I'll be right here when you wake up. Then I'll tell you everything you need to know." He whispered. I breathed slowly and laid there with him, slowly letting myself drift off to sleep in the arms of a boy I had had no idea I was in love with just yesterday....

Before I could fall asleep, I thought of the question I had been wanting to ask him as I felt my temperature rising. "WinWin..." I whispered. "Hmm" he said lightly. "How come your eyes turned pink earlier when I looked at you?" I said. He paused for a moment, I could feel his heart beating as he spoke again. "That's because...you're my mate." He said. His words shocked me, but I stayed quiet. "When I bit you, it made you my mate and no longer D.O's. I'm so sorry for all of this Courtney. I'd rather die than have you live unhappy with me." He said, sadness filling his voice.

"Don't say that...I like you okay, I know you're a good guy and you did what you had to do. I was the one who told you to do it remember? Cause...I love you." I said. "I love you too. I always have." He kissed the top of my head and I could feel his light breathing against my hair. Without another word, the two of us fell asleep in each other's arms. I had no idea how long I was out but it felt like days and the sun was already down so it must already be night.

I felt his arms around me, making me never want to get up but I knew I must let the other's know I'm okay. "WinWin" I whispered. His eyes slowly fluttered opened and he smiled at me sweetly. "You're up? How are you feeling?" He said. "I don't feel the pain anymore." I said happily. "That's good babe." He said, kissing my forehead. I blushed and smiled to myself. "What?" He laughed. "You just called me babe." I said, still smiling. He blushed himself, not realizing he had said it.

"Oh, sorry." He said as he scratched his head nervously. "No don't be, I like it." I reassured him. "Okay, so are you ready for me to tell you everything you need to know..." he said. "Okay, I'm ready." I said, breathing in, sitting up as he did the same. "So...you know you're a werewolf now so there isn't really much to it, besides the fangs and shifting and your senses, most everything else is actually like a normal person...then there's the thing with you and your mate." He explained.

I nodded and awaited him to continue. "So..do you remember anything about earlier?" He asked. "I remember a little." I said, fiddling with my fingers. "I remember that I'm your mate." I continued. "And...you don't remember anything else?" He asked. "What do you mean?" I said, confused. "Um..." he seemed like he was trying to decide whether he should tell me or not but I urged him on. "You kind of...tried to have sex with me earlier." He said, shocking me.

"Wait what?" I asked. He nodded as I tried to take this all in. "WinWin I'm so sorry I did that, I wasn't in my right mind, I-" I panicked and suddenly he hugged me, making me shut up. "It's okay." He whispered. I could feel his breath on my ear as he spoke gently. "Thank you for telling me no, I'm not ready." I cried into his shoulder. "I'll wait till you are ready, it's okay. Hopefully I'll be the man you choose to share that with." His words really hit my heart.

"Never think that I wouldn't pick you. You're my mate now." I said as I backed away from him a bit, looking into his eyes, his flashing pink as I guessed mine did the same. "Let's go see the others now, if you're ready of course." He said, standing up and making his way to my side of the bed. "I'm ready." I breathed out as I took his hand and stood up, nearly losing my balance due to not walking in so long. "Don't worry, I got you." He smiled and put his hand on my back, holding my hand as he lead me out of the room. We slowly made out way through the hallway and near the stairs, the sound of voices downstairs echoing throughout the rooms.

"You sure you're good enough to go down there? If they bother you too much I'll take you back up to your room." He said. "No no, it's okay. I'm sure they're worried so I should talk to them." I said. He nodded and took me down to the living room where I noticed all of the nct and exo boys and Samantha, Ten and Johnny and the one I didn't really want to see, D.O.
