Summary: Calum and Michael broke up a year ago. Michael has been depressed and sleeping around with other people since then. Calum bumps into him at a park and Michael is with a little girl.

Michael is 23 and his best mates are Luke and Ashton.
Calum is 21 and so ya
Ivy is 4 and is adorable

Calums POV

I walked around the swings at the park I was in, i came here to think all the time.

I was still walking around until something caught my eye. Michael?

Today would be been me and Michaels 2 year anniversary.

Yes I still keep count. And this is where we first met.
When he broke up with me I was heartbroken. Yea, he did drugs and all that but he was still my mikey .

We made eye contact and i looked away. "Calum?" He said and walked closer. This time something was different. He had a little girl with him. "Hey Mike-Michael" I stuttered and looked at him.

"Daddy who is this?" The little girl said and my heart dropped. Daddy?

"Baby this is a friend from high school " he cooed and let go of the little girl. Friend? "Why don't you go play okay sweetie?" He said and shooed the girl away.

"Hey"He said and took a seat at the nearest bench and i followed. He looked so different, his hair was blonde and his facial hair was slightly coming in. He looked so exhausted but so hot at the same time. "Hey" i breathed out and looked at the elder man.
"How are you?" He said.

"I'm okay I guess um, what about you?"

He smiled and looked down "I'm good"

Silence took over until Michael finally spoke.

"I uh. I know what you're thinking Cal, and no I'm not married or whatever" I gave him a confused look "can I just, can I explain everything to you?" I nodded, to scared to use my own voice and he continued.

"After we broke up" he started and looked at his daughter. " I uh, I got super depressed and started drinking again and smoking, I would sleep around with whoever I could find and it was- it was bad. I wanted you back so bad Calum. But I knew you deserved better. I knew you could find someone way better then me."

A tear rolled down his face and he muttered a 'Jesus' and wiping it away before continuing .

"I got with this one girl and i was so drunk I guess I forgot a condom and- you can fill the blanks. Um, she wanted nothing to do with Ivy, she wanted to get an abortion and i did too, but something clicked one day and i just felt like I needed that little girl in my life, and that was the best desicion I've ever made" he smiled and looked back up at Ivy. "She's all I have left" he looked down and i let my hand land on his thigh. I smiled a bit at him and he returned it. "I know i broke your heart that day Calum. I know trust me. It hurt me too, i just-" he paused for a moment "I'm sorry"
