Danny and Sam flew around the town for a good half hour before they finally found the flame-headed ghost on the cliff, under the tree. They landed quietly behind her just to hear her crying. "Stupid, stupid men! Always ruining everything! Why don't you just hook up with each other and leave us alone!?" She shrieked.
"Hey, I was doing my part but I can't now that I'm a girl! Have a boyfriend and everything!" Danny called.
Ember jumped up immediately and moved to strum her guitar. Sam jumped in the middle with her hands up, "Whoa whoa calm down we just came to talk. This one is just sassier now that he's a girl," Sam grumbled, shoving an accusing thumb at Danny. Danny just smirked and put her hands on his hips.
Ember slowly moved her hand away from her guitar. Sam smiled, "Are you okay Ember?" She asked softly.
Ember gave her a confused expression, "Why do you care?"
Sam moved and sat by her, "Because nobody deserves to hurt," she smiled sweetly, bringing a blue blush to Ember's face.
"Except the box ghost," Danny mumbled from his spot leaning against the tree. That earned a laugh from both girls.
Ember's expression became stoic again, "He cheated on me."
Sam nodded, "We heard, he came to Danny's demanding your location."
Ember's eyes widened comically and she looked around wildly, "He's not here is he!?"
Sam shook her head and laughed, "No. When he told Danny what he did, Danny over there went into mama bear mode and ripped him a new one then threw him through the portal and told him to find you himself," she said then laughed again.
Ember couldn't help but laugh and look at Danny. Danny blushed as soon as she did and looked away, "Don't look at me! I blush too easy right now!" He yelled, making Sam laugh.
Ember looked at Sam and admired the goth girl's laugh. When Sam's cool purple eyes landed on her she smiled then frowned, "I'm sorry for everything that happened."
Sam waved her off, "We've been through a lot worse, trust me."
Ember looked weary, "I can't believe you're being so nice to me," she murmured.
"Oh please," Danny walked over, "You're not a horrible person you know. You can be our friend if you want to, just don't enslave the human race," he smiled sweetly with a hint of sarcasm.
Ember cocked a brow, "She wasn't kidding, you really are sassier."
Danny put his hands on his hips again, "well I'd like to be a boy again. You know, not all guys are horrible man whores like your goblin of an ex."
Ember laughed at that. She smiled at Danny, "No I suppose not."
Sam rested her hand on Embers. Ember looked at her with a blue blush, "What Skulker did to you was wrong but you don't need to take that out on all men," she smiled.
Danny smirked and cocked a hip, "And ya know, you could do so much better than Skulker," he bounced his brows and looked at the girls' hands. They both blushed wickedly and pulled their hands away.
Ember nodded, "I get it, I was throwing a tantrum."
Danny smiled at her, "Are you okay now?" She smiled and nodded.
Danny nodded, "Good good.....now can I be a boy again? I even have a man to go back to."
Ember started laughing, "I never pictured you being gay but I guess I did kinda help set you up."
Danny crossed his arms, "Bi Ember. I'm bi." That made them laugh again.
Ember got up, "Alright Phantom," she put the dial on the arrows and ampt it so it would affect everyone she changed. She strummed it hard and just like before, Danny's body felt tingly. He opened his eyes - not realizing he had closed them - and looked down at himself. He smiled when he saw his male form back.
He sighed happily and smiled at Ember, "Don't be a stranger okay? We're big on giving second chances."
Sam smiled, "Yeah, we gave Dash a second chance, and look where he is now," she wiggled her eyebrows at Danny making him blush.
"Are you ready to go?" He asked in slight irritation.
Sam laughed and got up "Yeah, let's go."
She stopped when Ember grabbed her hand. The ghost smiled, "Thank you, Sam," She said and kissed Sam's cheek.
Sam blushed brightly making Ember laugh before she flew away. Danny waved a hand in front of Sam's face, "Earth to Sam. Oh good lord," he picked her up easily and flew into the sky.
Sam gave realization back into her eyes and smiled brightly, "That just happened!" She exclaimed.
Danny laughed lightly, "I never pictured you girling out".
Sam stopped and crossed her arms, "What's that supposed to mean?"
Danny shrunk back "Uh........look! We're back!" He landed and put her down quickly. He transformed back and ran into the house.
"Hide me," He said and quickly hid behind Dash.
Sam came in, "You know I am a girl, Danny," She crossed her arms.
"I know, but you don't act like it," he laughed.
Sam glared at him, "Why I oughta..." She came after him around Dash but then a hand came through the floor and pulled Danny through, "Ahh!"
Sam shrugged, "That works."
Danny fell to the floor with a thud and groaned. He looked up to Skulker glaring at him, guns aimed in his direction. "You think you can just get away with that?" He hissed.
Danny smirked and nodded, "I do actually." Skulker growled and shot his wrist ray. Danny rolled out of the way quickly and transformed. He jumped up and Roundhouse kicked Skulker into the wall.
Danny crossed his arms, "Just leave Skulker. Your head is obviously not on straight today. You're a guy again so just go. She found someone better for her anyway."
Skulker froze, "She....what?"
Danny nodded, "Maybe if you weren't such a man whore you could have had her," he said in a sassy tone.
Skulker growled, "Why you.." He shot his fist forward. Danny spun around and grabbed his arm, growing him into the ghost portal. He hit the button and dusted his hands off. "Man whore," he hissed at the door.
He transformed back and smiled at his friends who were undoubtedly in the doorway. "So now we can celebrate, '' he laughed.
Dash smiled and walked over, pulling his lover's waist to him. "Okay," he smirked and dipped Danny, pressing his lips to his in a searing kiss. Danny squeaked at the sudden movement but happily kissed back, wrapping his arms around Dash's neck. Sam laughed at Tucker's gagging face.
When Dash put Danny upright, He had a flushed yet happy look on his face, "Okay, I'm satisfied."
That made them all laugh. Dani smiled, "Well you heard him, let's celebrate! A second round of nasty burger!" She yelled. They laughed and agreed.

A train arrived late in the night, moving like a shadow. The wheels squealed to a stop, letting the ghoulish and freakly dressed passengers off. "Set up minions, and be quick about it," the ringmaster commanded. The ghosts nodded and made quick work lifting the tent. Freakshow grinned maliciously at the set, "Marvelous," he cackled. He looked down as his staff emitted a red glow, "Ohoho! Do tell me what you seek," he purred to the globe. An image of the ghost boy Danny Phantom appeared. Freakshow laughed lowly to himself, "Looks like we will be adding a new member to the family," his psychotic laughter echoed into the night.
