"HELLO AMITY PARK! TELL ME WHO YOU LOVE!"
Danny groaned as teens all around the cafeteria started to scream Ember's name as they ran out of the building. He really hated that singer. She was on every radio and Jazz was obsessed with her so he couldn't even escape it at home. Dash gasped, "Is that Ember McClain?" He asked.
"It is! Let's go!" Tucker said as he and Dash fled the room screaming "WE LOVE YOU EMBER!" A pinch of jealousy shot through Danny as he watched them leave.
Sam sighed and got up, "Come on. Let's go make sure our boyfriends don't hurt themselves in the mob."
Danny turned red immediately, "He's not my-"
"Yeah and I'm not wearing black, let's go," Sam pulled him out the door.
Outside a portable stage was parked on the street in front of the school. Goulish ghosts played the guitars and drums as Ember appeared on the stage in a blaze of blue flame.
The crowd went wild as she grabbed the microphone, "HELLO CASPER HIGH! TELL ME WHO YOU LOVE!"
The crowd roared, "EMBER! EMBER!" Her blue flame ponytail rose as they chanted.
As they began to play Danny's ghost sense went off. He looked around in confusion then his eyes landed on Ember, "No way," he mumbled then turned to Sam, "Ember's a ghost."
Her face turned shocked, "Are you sure?"
Danny nodded, watching the band on the stage intently, "Positive."
"What do we do?" She asked just as Mr. Lancer stood on a fire hydrant with a megaphone, "Attention freakishly dressed teen idol! I order you to cease and desist!" He yelled at her.
Ember raised a brow at him, "Desist this Grandpa!" She turned the dial on her guitar to the purple vortex and strummed her guitar. Every student except Danny and Sam turned to Lancer, eyes red and looking angry.
Mr. Lancer backed up some as the students advanced on him, "Grapes of wrath! What has gotten into you kids?!" He yelled as he ran from the crowd.
Danny looked around, making sure no one was paying attention to him. "I'm going ghost!" He said then transformed. He flew toward the crowd. "Never thought I'd save Lancer" he mused. Lancer put his arms up in defense of the incoming crowd. Danny flew to him quickly and grabbed his shoulders, turning them intangible. The crowd ran right through them without even a blink. Danny let go and flew up, still invisible. Lancer looked around and shrugged, heading back to the building quickly. Danny turned visible and looked around, "Now for the ghost.." everyone, now back to normal, looked back at the deserted stage.
"Where'd she go?" He heard Dash ask and his jealousy came back all over again. He growled a little at his own feelings and flew behind a tree and shifted back to human.
He walked back over to Sam ripping Tucker a new one for just up and leaving her for some 'new age bubble gum trash' and Dash looking around, looking slightly worried. When Dash spotted him he smiled, causing Danny to blush slightly. Goodness, his smile had an effect on Danny that he wasn't ready to delve into. He walked over and smiled back, "Hey, where'd you go?" Dash asked.
"I uh... got lost in the crowd," Danny said a little too quickly. Dash looked at him skeptically before nodding.
"All students head back to your regularly scheduled class now!" Lancer yelled over a megaphone. Everyone rolled their eyes and groaned as they headed to the school.

The next day Sam and Danny walked to school behind Tucker, rolling their eyes at Tucker's Ember outfit that included flame hair.
"Ugh! If I see any more of that stupid ghost I'm going to scream!" Danny exclaimed as they walked into the school. Their jaws dropped at the Ember-covered halls and students.
Dash walked over to them wearing an Ember shirt with a purple and white letterman jacket. "Hey guys," he looked at Tucker, "Nice hair."
Tucker smiled, "Thanks, nice shirt."
Danny groaned, "not you too," he whined slightly.
Dash was about to comment when Paulina ran in looking like Ember, "Hey everyone! Ember's giving away free tickets to her concert at the music store!" She yelled and the crowd of students cheered, including Dash and Tucker, and ran out the door.
Danny growled as he watched Dash leave. Sam raised a brow at him "Why don't you just admit you have a crush on him?" She said with a monotone face, arms crossed.
Danny whipped his head to her, "Because I don't! He's a guy Sam!"
Sam glared at him, "So what?! You always smile and blush around him, you're always at ease when he's around and you get jealous when he shows affection to anyone else!" She pointed out.
Danny looked shocked and thought for a minute. A blush crept up to his cheeks "I like Dash? Oh my gosh, I like Dash!" He exclaimed.
"Give the boy an award," Sam said sarcastically. "Now let's go stop Ember" Danny nodded and transformed, picking Sam up.
They flew in peace until they got to the music store where Ember stood in front of a crowd, throwing tickets to them. "TELL ME WHO YOU LOVE!!"
"EMBER! EMBER!" Her ponytail grew as they chanted.
Danny dropped Sam off at the back of the crowd, "Time to take the pop princess down," he said as he flew and landed a kick straight to the side. She went flying into the wall of the building and everyone gasped. Ember looked at Danny, enraged.
"Hey! Do you take any requests? How about beat it!" Danny yelled.
Ember flew into the air, glaring at him, "How about I just lay down a few power cords instead!" She raised her hand and strummed her guitar. "Dipstick!" A green wave with a skull hit Danny head-on.
The crowd cheered Ember on, including Dash, that one hurt Danny a little bit.
Danny got up, "Dipstick? Ho Ho. Funny." He flew over. Their hands linked in an attempt to wrestle each other down. "Who writes your insults? The same hack who writes your songs?"
"Ember! Ember!" The crowd cheered. Her flame hair grew in size.
She began to get stronger, causing trouble for Danny, "the chanting....makes her....stronger," he managed out.
"Got that right babycakes. When my concert streams live and the whole world is chanting my name, I'll be invincible!" She said then threw Danny at a van.
Danny groaned and sat up. Feet appeared in front of him. He looked up to see Dash, "Why are you trying to hurt Ember?" He yelled at Danny.
Danny got up and glared at him, "Because she's a ghost that wants to take control of you! Now go I don't want you getting hurt!" Danny said to him.
Dash looked confused "Why?"
Danny just stared at him, "Because I care about you."
"You don't even know me," Dash pointed out. Danny looked irritated, "It doesn't matter. Get back with everyone else."
"Aw. Teen love. They say it never lasts" Ember said over them "Nothing distracts teenagers like hormones. And I need to keep you busy for the next seventy-two hours," she turned the dial on her guitar to the pink heart as the crowd still chanted her name. "And now that I'm stronger, my music can affect you. How about a love song!" She said and strummed her guitar. Danny pushed Dash out of the way right before a pink wave with hearts hit him. He was taken aback, hearts filled his eyes for a second before it disappeared.
Danny looked over at Dash with a loving look. Dash looked confused at him. Sam stared wide-eyed, "Oh no," she said.
