Family is Forever

Part 27

Holby Rovers were in the Championship. The 2nd league down. They were playing Newcastle united at the Stadium the other side of Holby to the hospital. It was pretty mild for early October but Ali was cold all the time so had her big coat on. It was Zosia's old one. "Do you watch football often?" Ali asked Ollie. "From time to time. I used to watch it a lot more when I was younger." He answered 
It was soon time for kick off. Both Ali and Ollie really enjoyed the game especially since Holby won 3-1.
"Thanks For bringing me" Ali said to Ollie as they were leaving the stadium. She wrapped her arms round his chest. "You're very welcome Natalia, I do love you, you know. In a family kind of way. You've become like my sister. You remind me of my sister actually!" He pulled Ali into him.
"I didn't know you had a sister! What's her name? How old is she?" Ali asked. Ollie's face clouded over "Penny, she died quite a few years ago now" Ollie said looking down.
"I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have asked sorry." Ali hugged Ollie again.
"It's ok," he said. He had decided that he would drop Ali off at Colette's then go and visit Penny's grave before heading home to get ready to go out with the Darwin doctors.
"Hi Col," Ali brought her overnight bag into the  hallway and gave Colette a hug. "Czesc Ela" she smiled and picked up Ela who had just toddled into the hallway. "I thought maybe we should all put our Pyjamas on and have a movie night. How does Mamma Mia! And Hairspray sound then we can do some girly pampering once I've put Ela to bed. Is it ok for you to play with Ela For half an hour while I make some dinner." Colette asked.
"Sure" Ali answered then started talking to Ela who was in her arms "chodźmy i grać! masz lalki?" Lets go and play. Do you have any dolls?
Meanwhile Ollie had gone to Marks and Spencer's to buy some flowers to lay at Penny's grave. He often thought how lucky he was to have Zosia who didn't mind when he was home late because he had been to Penny or Tara's grace. The same way he didn't mind when Zosia had been to her mother or Arthur's grave. He got out of the car at the graveyard it was pretty empty just a middle aged woman at a grave of her mother. He placed the flowers down on the grave. "Hey Pen, we've got Zosia's cousin living with us. Natalia. She reminds me of you. You'd like her." He continued to talk to Penny for a bit.
Zosia was getting ready to go out. She'd been working and had come home and had a shower. Wrapped in her fluffy dressing gown she looked for her black dress. She couldn't find it anywhere in her wardrobe but remembered that she'd washed it. She wondered if it had ended up in Ali's wardrobe so went up to the attic room to have a look. She open Ali's wardrobe and thought it smelled kind of weird. She started to look at what was on the hangers to look for her dress. She couldn't find it so looked on the floor of the wardrobe to see if it was here. She picked up Ali's big Cardi and found loads of plastic bags. She opened the first one. It was filled with fruit. Some looking quite fresh and other pieces  rotting. She got all the other bags out, all filled with food. She looked under Ali's bed. More bags of food. Zosia started to cry and just sat on the floor. She thought Ali was doing well, but obviously not.
