Chapter 94- our perfect little baby

AN Hanna is pronounced like Hannah and Hania is pronounced Han-ya

Ollie was waiting in the imaging waiting room. It was very weird not being a doctor. He looked at the clock, Zosia wasn't late, yet. He was just early he looked around to see a few other dads to be with their partners. He was nervous and excited to see the tiny alien pictures, of his child. To check it was healthy, he couldn't wait to hear that heartbeat again.

Zosia was excited too. She was driving down to the hospital her phone rang and she saw it was Agata. Shit. She pulled off the road and onto the closest side road and pulled over to the side by the time she pulled the handbrake on the phone had rung off. So she rang her back and Agata picked it up on the second ring.
"Hey Zosh,"
"Is Ali ok?"
"Zosia calm down. Ali's fine, she's just left my classroom and she finished all her lunch. I wanted to ring you, because I knew you'd be worrying about her. She's had a lovely morning. She came in at lunchtime, eyes shining telling me all about her friends and that she feels normal. She seems to be getting on really well."
"Oh Aggie that's such a relief, thank you, I'd love to chat but I've got to go. I'm on my way to the hospital for a scan."
"Oh how exciting. Powodzenia. Good Luck! I'll let you get off then."

Ollie rang Zosia. Her phone was either engaged. He hoped she was on her way. "Everything ok Ollie?" Mr T asked "where's Zosia?"
"On her way I hope."
"Sorry, sorry!" Zosia came in looking flustered.
"I'm not too late am I?"
"No, no come in both of you." Mr T led them into the scan room.
"Sorry Ollie," Zosia apologised "Agata rang me."
"Is Ali okay?" Ollie asked
"Yeah. She's fine, more than okay. Aggie rang me to tell me Ali's had a great morning. But I turned off the main road to answer the phone then got stuck around the one way system."
Ali gasped as Mr T squirted the cold gel onto her abdomen. "Sorry." Mr T said.
"So have you thought of any names?" Mr T continued.
"Adam if it's a boy or Hanna if it's a girl." Ollie smiled.
"And do you want to find out the sex?"
"Yes." Zosia said at the same time as Ollie said "no" they looked at each other and laughed. "Your choice." Ollie said looking at Zosia. "Yes please."
Zosia gasped again as the sound of a heartbeat filled the room. "Sounds like she's got a strong heart beat." Mr T smiled.
"She?" Zosia asked a huge smile on her face. "You've got a Hanna!" Mr T said. "Hi there Hania," Zosia smiled at the images on the screen, while Ollie's eyes filled with tears and looked at Zosia. "Hanna Penny Valentine. Our little Hania"
"Your Hanna. Or did you pronounce it Hania?" Mr T asked. "Hania is the Polish diminutive of Hanna so her name will be Hanna but we are planning to nickname her Hania." Ollie smiled
"Well your Hania, looks perfectly healthy!"
"Our perfect little Hania!" Ollie breathed.
