Part 20- i did it

'Ali, your 16 right?' Ollie asked the next day. Zosia, Ali and Ollie were sat in the living room. There was football on TV but none of them were really watching it. 'Yeah, why?' Ali replied. 'Well my friends sister is 16 and was saying it's GCSE results day tomorrow.' Ollie looked at Ali.
'I totally forgot, oh my gosh!' Ali exclaimed.
'Do you need to go into school?' Zosia asked
'No they can email me.' Ali explained
'Natalia, what do you want to do next year? We need to plan something, you need to be in education until you're 18 right?' Zosia asked
'I hoped to do A-levels. I'll see if I can find a friend to stay with in Gloucestershire and go to sixth form or college.'  Ali smiled
'No.' Zosia said decisively 'I'm sure you can go to Holby college or St Stephens sixth form, what do you want to study Kochaine?'
'Are you sure I can stay? For real? I want to study Biology, psychology, geography not sure about the forth, chemistry, sociology or French I think, obviously depending on my results!' Ali smiled.
'I'll give the sixth forms a ring!' Ollie smiled and walked into the kitchen to get the phone.

The next day Ali was sat at Zosia and Ollie's computer, spinning round on the chair, then refreshing her inbox, spinning, refreshing, spinning, refreshing. She needed a C in English, Maths and each of her science and a C in each subject she wanted to take for A-level for Holby College. For sixth form she needed C's in core subjects and B's in what she wanted to take for A- level. She was so nervous.
'Ali, morning snack!' Zosia shouted from the Kitchen. 'I can't eat, I'm too nervous!' Ali shouted back. Zosia walked to Ali 'Come on kochanie, you know you need to eat something, I'm sure you don't want to go back to hospital. And I don't want you there either.'
'Hey Al,' Ollie smiled. 'I'll stay by the computer and tell you if you get an email'
'Okay, fine' Ali rolled her eyes and went into the kitchen to eat her snack, strawberries and banana slices covered in yoghurt. Ali felt like the food turned to cardboard in her mouth and she felt like her throat was to tiny to swallow the already tiny mouthfuls. She was about to take her last mouthful when Ollie shouted 'Ali, you have an email from your school' Ali and Zosia ran to the computer. 'Would you like us to leave the room?' Zosia asked as Ali sat down. 'No, it's ok.' Ali turned and smiled at her cousin.
Ali took a deep breath and read her results in her head. 'Ja to zrobiłem!' she breathed  I did it! A *in Biology, A in geography, French and Spanish, B in maths, both English exams and chemistry. C in physics and art. 'dobrze zrobione, niesamowite co dostałeś?' Zosia asked amazing well done, what did you get. 'I don't speak polish girls!' Ollie smiled. He knew it went well by looking at their facial expressions. 'I got into sixth form!' Ali smiled at Ollie. 'I'll give them a ring' Ollie said. 'You two go upstairs. We got you something.' He smiled
Upstairs Zosia handed Ali a box. 'It was my old one.' She smiled 'please treat this one better!' Ali opened the box. There was an iPhone inside. 'Every girl needs a phone right, one that works. It's a new number so your mums boyfriend doesn't have it. So far there is only mine and Oli's numbers in it, you can put all your friends numbers in when you start sixth form.' Zosia explained
'Dziękuję bardzo' thank you so much Ali hugged her cousin.
