'Hey Kochanie, how did it go?' Zosia asked her younger cousin Ali. 'Okay,I think' Ali replied 'Dr Palmer wants to talk to you, she's at the nurses station.'
'Look what I made you' Zosia showed Ali the bracelet. Ali laughed 'you better have this one back then' she untied the Zosia bracelet from her wrist and tied the new Natalia one that Zosia had just made.
'Ah Zosia, Naomi, can we discuss Natalia in my office?' Ms Serena Campbell asked. They walked into her office. 'I've got Natalia's blood tests back and she is anaemic which could be due to lack of iron in her diet or due to the amount of blood she is loosing. She is also low in potassium and sodium which would be consistent with an eating disorder.' Serena informed them in a business like manner. 'Yes, looking at her weight and after talking to her I think we are looking at restrictive anorexia. Her home environment seems less than ideal so although her weight doesn't prompt it immediately, I will be looking for a bed for her in a unit either in Wyvern or Gloucestershire....' Naomi was saying. 'Wait!' Zosia exclaimed. 'She can stay with me! Me and Dr Valentine are moving in together this weekend. I'll have to check with Ollie but surely being in a home environment with people she loves will be better than hospital!'
'Well yes, if Natalia was to stay with you she wouldn't need to go into hospital.' Naomi confirmed
'Zosia are you sure?' Serena asked 'it's a big commitment, she's obviously a hurt and venerable teenager.'
'You'll have to stick to a meal plan and spent a lot of time with her, checking she's eating, get rid of scales or anything that she can hurt herself with. It's not easy!'
'I know and I want to, my mama would have wanted me to look after her. Don't say anything to her yet. I'll go and talk with Ollie. She's my cousin she needs me!'
