I
I was once happy and loved.
Once dreamt to be above.
I went with the gentle breeze.
Everything was at ease.
II
A decision to gain you,
A choice to have you.
I did everything I could
But a single gaze, you never could.
III
A smile turned into a frown.
Yet, I acted like a clown
Spitting jokes and glorious laughs.
Emotions turned to rocks.
IV
I was worthless, unneeded.
I had never contributed.
I was selfish, only consuming.
I had given nothing.
V
I wasn't worthy for importance.
My efforts, unworthy of a chance.
No one would ever miss
Even if I went to the abyss.
