#92 - My Temporaries
I
Whenever I hurt myself,
I tried to heal myself.
My eyes searched for remedies.
My heart searched for temporaries.
II
My temporaries made me happy.
They made me feel lively, and giddy.
They may have no idea or a clue
That they could turn me yellow if I was blue.
III
All of them, didn't know me
But it's okay they still made me happy.
They made me forget temporarily
As long as they could be seen by me.
IV
Most of them were taken by someone
And I admit that I wish I was that one,
The one who made them happy and loved.
To me, I always wished someone would fall in love.
V
As I sipped my coffee from my cup,
I smiled and closed my book on my lap.
From my phone, my reflection stared at me back.
I wished someone would love me back.
