I didn't imagine that I would be awoken the next morning by the full force of an eighteen year old girl diving straight on top of me. The sounds of her screams pierced through my ears, making me dig my head deeper into my pillow and groan tiredly. I couldn't possibly imagine a worse way to be woken up.

"You're going to kill me for this when you've got out of this bed I know, but I just couldn't resist rudely waking you up," Jessa laughs, to which I don't reply. Instead I just try to reimagine the dream I was previously having in my head, in the hope that I will drift off back to sleep and continue it.

"I would apologize but I'm not actually sorry."

I groan once more, squeezing my eyes tightly together. "You're not going to let me get back to sleep, are you?"

"Probably not."

I lift up my head from my pillow, seeing a head shaped dint where I had just been laid, before spinning my head to glare at an already dressed Jessa. She sits on the end of my bed, legs crossed, arms folded, looking rather pleased with herself after completing her mission, which I'm very sure was to get me up.

"You're just lucky I don't have a lot of energy," I mumble through a yawn.

Everyone's first morning back at LAC went as good as it could go. Jessa waited for me to get myself ready then we caught up with a few friends; discussed what we had all been up to this past week. It didn't take long for me to readjust myself back into college life after being off for seven days, and it was like we all hadn't been away.

Me and Jessa were sat at the dinner table with Mike and Laura after our first two periods. It had just gone 1, which meant lunch and then free periods for the rest of the day, luckily.

Mike told us about going to New York to visit his grandparents, Laura mentioned that her brother and his girlfriend had just had a baby so she'd spend the week bonding with her adorable niece, and Jessa had gone home to see her family.

"Asshole alert," Mike huffed with a role of his eyes, to which I frowned in confusion.

"What?"

Mike nodded behind me, glaring over my shoulder. "Making his way over to our table."

I followed his gaze, but unable to see what exactly he was on about. That was until my eyes set on the tall muscular figure that walked coolly towards us, a snap back sitting on the top of his head but backwards, and hands swaying slightly at his sides. Louis flashed a smile when he saw me looking at him.

I turned back around to face the table, "you mean Lou? No he's alright."

Mike's scowl dropped as he mimed the word 'Lou' with an almost disgusted look on his face. He repeated it, this time actually saying the name out loud. "You guys have pet names for each other?"

Jessa looks at me with an amused look on her face, clearly finding the situation with me and Mike at the minute somewhat funny. I just shook my head.

"Pet names," I laugh, "Mike I wouldn't go that far."

"Oh whatever. He's a jackass. A complete and utter jerk. I cannot stand the boy."

I didn't really understand the negativity Mike had towards Louis, because to me, Louis had always seemed so nice and actually quite caring for an eighteen year old boy. He never did anything to make me think of him as the things Mike had just said.

Just as I was about to give Mike a simple reply, my surname was spoken by a voice I remember from last night. As I turn my head, I was met by the chocolate brown eyes of Louis Taylor, so soft and inviting, making me wonder how anyone could think of him as a 'jackass' and 'utter jerk'.
