In the spring of 2011 upon emerging from the Underworld, Persephone set about her duties in her spring garden, sprucing things up, adding new flowers, amongst other things. As she progressed, she found she had too few nymph servants to help her with her garden, so she created Abella, a fully-grown bee/honey nymph to aid her.
Abella served her faithfully all throughout the spring and summer, when it was time for Persephone to return to the underworld, she told Abella she could either stay in the gardens or go to camp. Abella decided to go to camp, she wanted to meet new people and experience more of the world besides what she had seen while in Persephone’s gardens.
After spending the fall and summer at camp, and meeting many new people, making friends, dating and interacting with guys, she begged Persephone to allow her to remain at camp for the spring and summer of 2012. Seeing how happy Abella was at camp, Persephone agreed as long as Abella promised to help take care of the flowers at camp, especially the ones around Persephone’s cabin.
