“So what is this big plan? What you needed me here for?” Bobby asked after a half hour of silence and smooth driving.

“Zachariah is working with Lucifer.” I whispered.

“What?!” Dean and Sam spoke at the same time both as outraged as the other.

I nodded. “He wants humanity wiped out. Without God up there keeping them in line, the angels are doing whatever they please and they are inviting the freedom. I don’t think it would matter what Lucifer wanted, as long as the angels were using ‘free will’ they would follow him anywhere.”

“And that leaves us?” Bobby asked feeling more hopeless than before.

“I know where God is.” When I said this everyone in the car seemed to stop breathing. Bobby slammed on the brakes causing us all to pitch forward. When the car was completely stopped and we all sat back, I looked up to see them all staring at me. I took a deep breath. “I can’t tell you, because if you had this information, they would torture it out of you if it came to that.” I glanced at Dean and Cas from the side. Then my eyes fell on Sam. “But I need you to trust me, that I know where he is.”

I felt them all nod before I continued. I had their undivided  attention and it almost made me uncomfortable. “But that isn’t the point, because I know how to defeat Lucifer. It is so simple that no one ever thinks about it. The cult won’t do anything against him, because he was prepared for you two to choose the easy way out. But what he didn’t plan on was an angel on your side.” I winked at Cas. “And an ex-angel. I can destroy him and he knows it.”

“So you can just kill him?” Dean asked like it was too simple to be true.

I nodded. “I can… the only drawback is that after I do something that big, I will be drained completely. My powers will take days to recover. I don’t stand a chance against the other angels who were planning on me taking out Lucifer.”

“Then they kill you when you are weak and that leaves us down an angel.” Cas whispered.

I nodded. That had been the extent of my vision. I looked up at Bobby. “We need every willing hunter we can get, because when I kill Lucifer there isn’t anything stopping the angels from killing the humans.”

“Then why don’t you not kill Lucifer?” Sam asked.

“Lucifer has to die.” I looked over at him. “He is the one leading them and even if they continue without him, it won’t be as strong. He needs to be stopped.”

There was a quiet silence while they thought all this over. I finally found the courage to say my last part. “When I kill Lucifer, I am going to be very weak, but I think I can muster enough power to go to God.” I looked over at Cas. “I am going to take Cas with me, in case something goes wrong or I need someone to talk to God if I pass out when I get there.” Cas just nodded but I felt the excitement within him. “I am, or Cas is, going to convince him to come back. That the only thing in humanity’s way is a bunch of misguided angels. I am banking that he comes back.”

“And when he does the angels will fall back in line?” Bobby asked still trying to piece everything together.

I shrugged. “Or he will kill them. I think God has been on vacation too long and he knows it. The only thing I am worried about is the time between when I kill Lucifer and when I get God to face the angels. They are going to try to kill anyone who stands in there way, and that is pretty much everyone in this car.” I looked down at my hand on Dean’s.
