CHAPTER 6

CHARLOTTES POV

Hayes and I have been hanging out for 3 weeks. We kiss, hug, and call eachother cute things but were not boyfriend and girlfriend. I got so much hate on social media but I just ignore it.

We have a whole system. We walk to school together everyday, walk home everyday except Friday, Monday and Wednesday mornings we go for Starbucks, and on fridays I go to his games and then after school on Tuesday we do homework together. It's really nice.

So today I decided to wear a flowy kind of crop top that said hipsta please, and white shorts with black converse. I straightened my hair and added a little mascara.

I got a text right when I was heading downstairs.

Hayes: come outside I haven't seen you all weekend I miss you babe!

I get butterflies just thinking about him.

I headed downstairs and opened the door. I jumped on top of him and wrapped my arms around him. I missed this kid.

"Babe I missed you! Why'd you have to go to New York?" He asked

"I was visiting relatives" I said and we let go of our hug.

Our hands locked and our fingers intertwined. I told him about my weekend and seeing some go my friends and my parents friends and their kids thought I was their 'friend'.

"They sound terrible" he said laughing

"I had to deal with them for 7 years" I complained and rolled my eyes. We walked into school and to homeroom.

TIME SKIP TO 6TH PERIOD (SAME DAY)

I walked in and sat down at my seat. Hayes was at his locker so I went on with out him.

"Charlotte Fray to the principals office"

Everyone "oooed" and I got up. I saw Hayes in the hall. "The principal called you what happened?" He asked

"I'm going to find out now. I'll text you as soon as I find out so make sure your phone is on vibrate" I warned

"Ok promise?" He said

"Promise" I said and smiled. He kissed my cheek and I headed to the principal office.

When I arrived she was sitting at her desk. "Hi Mrs. Murry" I said and took a seat.

"Good afternoon. Well the reason I called is because your mother called and asked for you to come home right away. So I just wanted to tell you that you're excused and you may go. I'll see you tomorrow" she said.

"Oh thank you" I said and left.

I began to walk home. What could my mother want? Maybe someone died? No probably not.

As I approached my house there were 2 extra cars in the drive way. Maybe relatives were over?

I opened the door and there they were.

When I was in prek, I became friends with these two girls. Our parents became close, and while their relationship grew, the relation ship with the other girls and I started to break. One girl I hated, Lauren, and me and Karina used to gang up on her. Now I hate Karina, and I'm friends with Lauren. Karina made me cut once last year but I swore not to ever do it again. I wouldn't of cut, but it was after the accident, plus her bullying me.
