CHAPTER 35

HAYES POV

"Wait -" I started to say but she cut me off.
"I heard what you said. I did and I really truly appreciate it. But I don't think we should be together anymore" she said tears streaming down her cheek.

I wasn't going to argue with her. But if I love her, I should let her go right? I don't even know if this is what love feels like, because I'm only 13. But I don't want her to be with me if she doesn't want to. I don't want to force her to do anything, especially after all that's happened.

"O-ok. But is there a way maybe in the future we can you know be together again?" I ask hoping she would say yes.
"Yeah there is" she said smiling. I kissed her cheek softly and hugged her tight.

"I'll go get the doctors and let them know your awake" I said and squeezed her arm, then got up and left.

5 DAYS LATER

CHARLOTTES POV

I finally got home and school started the next day. I was exhausted. I was really tired of doing nothing, so I decided to go out for a walk.

I walked in the opposite direction of Hayes house because I can't walk by his house with out thinking about him. I'm probably staring up into space like an idiot, which I was because I bumped into someone and fell on the floor.

"Oh god I'm so sorry!" I said feeling like an idiot.
"It's cool" the boy said brushing off. When he stood up I actually got a good look of what he looked like. He looked a lot like jake actually,except a little taller.

"By any chance do you happen to go to that middle school right down the street?" He asks pointing to the middle school I go to.
"Yeah I do, why?" I ask him.
"Um my brother goes there and he wants me to go there since I go to a different school and I was just wondering if you went there" he asks scratching the back of his neck.
"Who's your brother? Maybe I know him" I said thinking.

"Jake Delanson. He's my twin brother"
