I got back to my B&B in tears, I felt like the whole world was against me. When I got here everything was ok, New place new me right? Wrong. No matter where I go trouble follows. I jump into my bed wishing that I could just stay here forever, even though I have work tonight

Again because of me leaving my stuff, in the person who has caused all my problems house there's not much I can do to make an effort. I change into a pair of black leggings and black crop top that luckily I forgot to unpack.

"Hey" I say to Helen as I walk behind the bar "this place is booming tonight"

"Tell me about it, it never usually is on a Tuesday night" she says "word must have got out you were working"

I laugh "that I doubt this place would be empty then"

"Well once this place quiets down a bit I'm sure you'll have enough time to tell me" she says before serving a customer that came up to the bar

There's something about Helen that I really like, I feel like I've known her forever even though I haven't, and she's not a snobby boss she's so easy to talk to and you can joke around with her

Maybe this job will be ok after all

Once I'm out of my thoughts I see someone standing at the bar waiting "Hey how can I help you?" I ask politely a smile on my face wrapping my waist apron around my waist

The girl doesn't seem as happy to see me, meaning I probably know her but just don't recognise her "Can I get a table for two"

"Sure thing" I say and direct her to a table at the back of the restaurant "Do you know what drinks ye would like" I say taking the pen and notebook out of my apron

"A water and some some rum and coke" she says still not looking happy

"Coming right up" I say still smiling, but believe me it was only because that's my job

I go back and get the water and rum and coke before putting it on a tray and carrying back to where they were

"Here you go" I say leaving them down on the table before looking up. I take two menus out of my apron and leave them down on the table before looking up and as soon as I seen the person on front of her I realised who they were

Kayden and his ex

And the one thing I know and he knows is that once you serve someone they're your responsibility for their time there

Once we caught eye contact it felt like we were daring each other to look away but that's interrupted when his date coughs awkwardly

I look away after a second "Anyway I'll let you guys decide what ye are having and then I'll be back"

I meet Helen on my way back, who has a smirk on her face and as soon as we get back behind the bar she decides to speak "so I'm assuming my other employee has something to with the reason you look like shit today"

I roll my eyes "I'm not even going to deny that"

"Care to explain" she smirks
