They quickly hurried to the cave where pure landed and went inside. Pure went inside first to absorb the radiation and bring it to safe levels to lose the hazmat suits and call for help. The troops checked with their Geiger counters and confirmed the all clear of the radiation. Pure stayed at the entrance to keep watch and make sure any radiation doesn't get inside. Everyone took off their hazmat suits and started to set up camp in the cave where everyone started to talk to each other.

Captain: What the hell was that and who in the mother of god was that?

Pure: The Ultimate Defense Industries; responsible for what happened to me and the attack on home base.

Captain: what do we know about these guys?

Alisha: Not much, all I know is they are the most unified defense contractors in the entire world. Their weapons are state of the art; they are about ten years ahead of what we can make now.

Pure: Well I did download everything from their servers before I set it to blow, but its heavily encrypted and in different languages but I did manage to decrypt the English section.

Captain: Well, what did it say?

Pure: All it said were shipping manifests, places to go, building locations and what is stashed where. The other languages must be hiding the attack orders.

Captain: We will need that later; Alisha can you call that friend you were talking about?

Alisha: Need a boosted signal and the cave is blocking some of it.

Pure: I can help with that.

Pure puts one of his tails outside and the connection stabilized almost completely

Alisha: I'm going to need power too.

Pure placed his hand on the plug of the laptop which started to charge it from the reactor.

Pure: I'll get to work finding my friend, hopefully he is still alive.

Captain: Be careful about it, last thing we need is for a direct fix on our location.

Pure: Got it.

Captain: the rest of you get those supplies inside and make sure this cave is safe in case there is a path somewhere these guys can get to us. Pure can you extend your range of your radiation absorption so that they can move freely?

Pure: Of course.

Pure extended 5 of his tails outside so that they can absorb the radiation, while three went down in the cave ahead of the troops so that radiation in the cave had been neutralized just in case. Half the troops went for the supplies while the other half explored the cave, the captain led the cave exploration team, leaving Alisha and Pure alone where they talked

Pure: Well this turned into an interesting day.

Alisha: Yeah, interesting.

Pure: Are you ok?

Alisha: Does it look like I'm ok?! –Starts to cry-

Pure: You had a lot of friends in that base, didn't you?

Alisha –nods-

Randal: Softening her up for the strike are we?

Pure and Seth: Now is really not a good time Randal!!

Randal: What? You both knew I was thinking it.

Pure: She just lost a lot she cares about Randal!

Seth: Put yourself in your shoes here, can you at least show some sympathy?!

Randal: Ugh, fine but I get first dibs at her.
