Possible Changes

While Pure was busy training under Master Qiang, and Vincent was searching relentlessly inside the Bermuda Triangle everyone was responding to small emergencies to stay focused on the main task ahead. Marshal, Artemis and their crew docked back at the fort and Horatio, Lucinda and their crew took their place to hold the line since they had to resupply.

Marshal: I want all of our supplies restocked and ready to deploy as soon as possible.

Solider: Yes, sir!

Jack: Welcome back to the fort, Captain Marshal, need anything?

Marshal: Yeah, a hot bath and a couple of drinks.

Rick: Way ahead of you buddy, they are in your room.

Marshal: Want to get some relax time before we head back out?

Artemis: Sure, my wings need a break anyway.

Solider: Sir, we will be ready to go in the next few hours.

Marshal: Make it tomorrow; we don't want to kill ourselves on this mission. Take a load off and be prepared first thing.

Solider: Yes, sir!

Marshal and Artemis head to their room where some drinks and a very large tub able to fit Artemis was inside waiting for them. They took off their armor and clothes and relaxed in the hot water. Marshal was sitting next to Artemis and was enjoying each other's company.

Marshal: -sighs- after a few days of searching, this is exactly what we need.

Artemis: Exactly, we needed this.

Marshal: What we really needed was some alone time with each other.

Artemis: I like how you think.

Marshal: Speaking of thinking, when this is over, would you like to have children.

Artemis: I would really like that, I would like to see our children be just like us and be able to fly.

Marshal: I hope so too.

Marshal and Artemis just laid back and relaxed in the bath wrapped up in Artemis's wings. In the meantime, Daiyu had just finished making the alloy to best fight against gamma radiation.

Daiyu: There, it's done!

Liz: You finished it?

Daiyu: The new alloy is ready to be tested against gamma radiation.

Liz: What does it do?

Daiyu: Well since Pure can take beta radiation but not gamma radiation I thought there would be some way of redirecting it or absorbing it so that it would take it and either power up the armor to resist against their attacks and make him immune to the gamma radiation and let him have extra time to fight William and Katrina.

Liz: Can you make enough for two?

Daiyu: Why?

Liz: Pure has to deal with two people so he needs someone to take care of Katrina while he handles William and I suspect both of them will cheat when he faces them.

Daiyu: You can't tank the hits these guys put out.

Liz: No but I can mess with her mind.

Daiyu places her hand on Liz's face.

Daiyu: You know I don't want to lose you.

Liz: I know, but someone has to fight against a cheater like her and that someone is me.

Daiyu: Ok, I will make armor for you too and another one under it will absorb damage and redirect it to cannon I will ask my kids to make to gather that energy and fire it; I want you to be safe.
