A Call Home

The next day Pure was talking to Kadeem over the phone he dropped off. Kadeem invited him over to his new house to meet his other half of the family after 24 years.

Pure: Okay guys I'm headed to my new house with Chun to catch up on my fathers' side of the family.

Alisha: While we head to England to get our knighthood.

Horatio: You sure you are not coming?

Pure: I need to catch up with my other family anyway.

Everyone heads out of the fort, Pure and Chun break away and head back home to Barbados, he came into the airport and they instantly cleared him to glide to his new house. Chun and Pure gilded straight to the house which was a big four-bedroom house with a garage and workshop there. He could even see his family members on the ground putting out tables and getting food ready for when Pure would come so both of them lined up and touched down. He walked towards the house and everyone in his family saw him.

Pure: Hey guys!

Kadeem: Everyone, he's here!

Everyone in the huge family rushed towards where Pure was and what he looked like, everyone was still surprised at what he looked like after 24 years. Kadeem came forward and held out his hand. Pure did the same and shook it.

Kadeem: Welcome home cousin.

Pure: Good to be home.

Chun saw two children peeking behind him and went close. They peeped out and was scared of Chun.

Pure: It's ok, he won't hurt you.

The children reached out their hands and Chun came carefully close and touched them. Once they knew he was friendly they came close and were rubbing his fur.

Pure: Whose kids are these?

Kadeem: They are mine.

Pure: Look at you, a father now.

Kadeem: Yeah, they are my sweethearts and I will never let anything harm them.

Pure: Well, what are we waiting for let's get this party started.

Pure lifted up one of the children and put them on his shoulder while the other one got onto Chun and let them ride him. They all headed to the table and set up, once they did they let all the children play out in the meadow near the house. Everyone let Chun play with the children now that they knew he was friendly and kind. Pure was on the side talking to the adults. He had his sword driven in the ground with his coat on it and his hat on the hilt. Everyone else was sitting down in chairs while Pure sitting down on his tails

Pure: Kadeem, you are one lucky dad to have those children, what are their names?

Kadeem: Ryan and Lucy.

Pure: Good names.

Family Member 1: Enough about that the real question is why do you look like that and what's with the reactors?

Pure: It's because of what they did to me; my heart got removed and replaced with a nuclear reactor.

Family Member 2: Shouldn't you be dead!?

Pure: In other cases, yes but the radiation and my blood combined makes me regenerate and keep me alive. The ones in my back amplify my power and house the other guys you saw yesterday.

Kadeem: What about him, you told me you and your fox spirit got split up but you two are still together somehow, how is that possible?

Pure: Our minds are split up not our connection to each other, watch.
