Hybrid Time

Two weeks later everything was going smoothly. Everyone was doing their jobs and taking care of the children, just then Lucinda's egg started shaking.

Lucinda: Everyone, the egg is hatching!

Everyone that was there hurried to Lucinda's room where the egg was shaking and it was trying to crack open.

Lucinda: Come on little one, you can do it.

The egg started cracking and tiny pieces started to fall off. Soon enough a hand was reaching out of the egg. It was a light blue like her mother. Some more of the egg started breaking off and soon enough the top of the egg came off. It slid off and a head popped out of the egg. It was a girl and she reached up her hands and Lucinda went and picked her up from inside the egg. The baby had tentacle hair which was doing nothing, she had light blue skin and the most amazing thing was is that she had legs. She looked to be around eight feet in height and had crystal blue eyes, just then Horatio flew in.

Horatio: I'm here, I'm here.

Horatio saw Lucinda holding the fruit of their love.

Horatio: Oh my god, she is so beautiful.

Lucinda: Do you want to name her?

Horatio: I always wanted a girl to be named Athena.

Lucinda: Athena it is then.

Horatio: Let's take her to the medical bay to get her checked up.

Horatio used his water magic and made two hands to carry Athena to the medical bay while Lucinda took her usual route to get there. Once they got to the medical bay the doctor started her usual checkup. Daiyu had made some modifications so that the doctor can do medical checkups on the monster girls. Mima and Seth built a medical drone to assist the doctor and be easier to do medical exams.

Everyone got back to work and waited out the time except for Horatio and Lucinda who stayed with Athena while the medical checkup was going. Horatio went and got the clothing that Arachnid made for them and put them on. Also some custom diapers had come in for them and Lucinda put one on with Horatio's help. Once she was all dressed after she was weighed and a blood sample was taken. (not a big sample, more like a few milligrams).

Doctor: Ok, all done, she looks to be in great condition. The analysis will take a few hours to do but she can stay here, Lucinda you can stay with her and make sure she is fed.

Lucinda picks up Athena and starts to feed her. Horatio was starting to cry.

Pure: Congratulations Horatio.

Jack: Yeah man, now you got a beautiful daughter.

Pure: I'll fill in your emergencies, go be with them.

Rick: Better use your dragon form for this one.

Horatio transformed into a dragon and sat down with Lucinda. Both of them were looking at Athena and were happy. Everyone else headed back to work. Pure was finished disassembling the two ships and was working on the schematic and making a few adjustments. Sandra and Artemis went back to their rooms looking at their eggs and waiting for them to hatch. Carolina had called her children and asked them to come to the fort, she also called Tanya, Liz and Daiyu. Once they got there they got out of the drones and were cleared. Tanya had locked up the house and the mini-drone always stood with her. Carolina all met them in the main hall.

Carolina: Hey kids.

Natasha: Hey mom, how is our little sister?

Carolina: She is doing great, Auriella say hi to your brothers and sisters.
