New place in life

In the forest, Abagail woke up sleeping on Rose, Abagail got up and stretched. She looked outside and saw a few people up and gathering fruit. When Abagail woke up, the drones woke up and they stood with her. Abagail went outside and she got a bucket and got some water for herself, the drones assisted anyway they could. Once she got the water one of the drones carried it for her and she went back inside. Abagail washed her face, Rose woke up and went to Abagail. Rose rubbed her hand on Abagail's head then she went to get some fruits for breakfast for Abagail. Blossom saw Rose come out and she wanted to check on Abagail. Blossom knocked on the tree.

Blossom: Hello?

Abagail: Come in.

Blossom went inside.

Abagail: Hi.

Blossom: Hello Abagail-kun.

Abagail: I didn't get your name from before, what was it?

Blossom: Blossom-chan.

Abagail: Why do you speak in the third person.

Blossom: Blossom-Chan likes talking like this, is there is a problem how Blossom-Chan talks?

Abagail: No, no, this is the first time I have ever met someone who talks like that.

Blossom: No worries.

Once Abagail got cleaned up, Abagail saw the tattoo on Blossom's skin.

Abagail: What kind of tattoo is that on your skin?

Blossom: Oh, this is a special type of tattoo, when I am with Miguel it glows.

Abagail: Glows?

Blossom: It is made of magic and it came to us when we formed our bond.

Abagail: Sounds interesting.

Just then Rose came in with an assortment of fruits for Abagail.

Blossom: Looks like breakfast is here Abagail-kun, eat up and we can go around the sanctuary together.

Abagail: Ok.

Rose put down the fruits on the table and Abagail started to eat. Once Abagail was full she headed down her tree to meet Blossom and learn more about the sanctuary. Blossom took Abagail to the orchard, the vegetable fields and the flower fields. Blossom talks about what they do at the sanctuary, how they help people and what they do to help them. Blossom takes Abagail to their tree and she sees the alchemy room.

Blossom: This is where we make medicines to help the sick and injured.

Abagail: This is a lot of medicine.

Blossom: Sometimes people from the outside seek treatments and we help them. Miguel-kun sometimes trades medicine and a little bit of the resources to help fund for upgrades and buy other supplies we can't get.

Abagail: Sounds like you all have it nice here.

Blossom: We manage.

Abagail: You know, I never really earned my keep, it was given to me.

Blossom: How?

Abagail: I don't really tell people this but my dad was not the nicest person in the world but in fact the worst. He was a really bad man and he did a lot of bad things no one could forgive him for but he cared for me and got me everything and he never let me do anything for myself.

Blossom: We have a rule here, no one is discouraged no matter where they came from. People usually judge people by where they came from and what the cover of their book is. We have no ties here; we are all friends. If Abagail-kun wants to learn how to earn for herself, we can teach you. Abagail-kun can help out in the fields, the orchard, some people can teach Abagail-kun how to cook, clean and help people.
