Not going to like this

Pure and Carolina were talking while they were heading down the stairway to the next circle, Gluttony.

Carolina: I didn't know it was that bad up top, I'm so sorry that happened to you and those people inside you.

Pure: It's something I have to live with but it's not so bad having all these powers and having a new family.

Carolina: At least some things are better for you now.

Pure: But what about you, why are you down here and not on the earth? I know you are not that kind of girl.

Carolina: Well it's one story I don't like to tell but...

Pure puts his hand on her shoulder.

Pure: It's ok if you don't want to tell me.

Carolina: It's best if you knew though. A month after you were declared missing I was kidnapped since I was an easy target and everything was falling apart in the Caribbean. I was taken to an unknown location since I was on a plane headed to an eastern direction but I didn't know since I was knocked out for most of the flight, blindfolded, tied up and gagged.

Seth: Wait, how did you know which way you were headed?

Pure: Since she was mostly deaf at the time her sense of direction improved a lot. She was more like a like a living compass.

Carolina: When we landed, I was put into a van and was taken to a building where other girls were raped and tortured for people's enjoyment. I was a different case however; since I came from the Caribbean I was taken to the big room with all of the torture equipment you could think of. I was raped, tortured, you name it, it's been tried on me. I soon started to crave it, heck I even begged for it after they broke me down to almost nothing. I had three kids in the process but the fourth one I died giving birth to. I lasted about five years in there before I was sent to the circle of Lust to pay for my crimes since I didn't hold out and started loving it.

Pure: I don't blame you though; no one can survive those conditions.

Carolina: But it seems you did though.

Pure: I had regeneration so that was a major difference in both our problems.

Carolina: I became a Succubus a few years after that and was running around sucking on souls to feast on; it was a nice change since I was the one torturing the souls to my pleasure. After that I was assigned to a team of Succubus and was doing damage. When they heard you were coming, the demons placed that bomb in my neck to make sure I wasn't going to go out of line, since your mother knew I was a good friend of yours and she knew I would try to help. Once you were coming I managed to steal this collar from the armory without anyone noticing. The hiding spot I found when I was passing by the tower and noticed it, so I made it my home when I wasn't needed.

Pure: Have you ever checked up on your kids?

Carolina: The rules don't allow me to do that, but I can spy on them.

Pure: I'll check up on them for you when we get back up top.

Carolina: And what am I going to do when we get there?

Pure: No idea at the moment, but I'll think of something that you can do. For now, let's focus on the task at hand.

Carolina: Which is?

Vincent: Travel through the circles.

Seth: Defeat his mother.

Randal: Stop the armies of hell from advancing.

Pure: And save the world for a second time.

Carolina: Sounds good.

Vincent: Heads up you two, we are approaching the next circle and it's going to be disgusting.
