Canyon Burn

Pure, Rick and Jack were tearing it up on the mountains while Marshal stood silent in the air and Sandra was tunneling underground. They were cutting through the snow until they saw another squad cutting through the mountain. They stopped on a ridge where they saw them headed to base.

Jack: Looks like we got some party crashers.

Pure: Then let's crash them before they crash us.

Marshal: Need some help?

Pure: No, if we show your position we lose the element of surprise.

Rick: What's the plan?

Pure: Let's have some fun, Sandra create a hole for them to fall in. We are more mobile on this terrain than them.

Sandra: Once I create the hole you guys have to blow the top of it.

Jack: Got it.

They pull out their weapons and jump down, they start ambushing the squad. They each break up and keep the squad in place. They each took runs at the squad and knocked out the drones only. Once that was done they kept the gamma soldiers and supersoliders in place. While they were occupied Sandra was drilling the hole they needed, once she was done she called them over the comm.

Sandra: It's ready!

Pure: Bomb spray guys!

Pure used his missile launcher, Rick used the missile spray and Jack used the mortars to collapse the ground and made the soldiers drop into the hole Sandra made. Jack caused a small earthquake which dropped the snow inside the hole, Pure heated it up which turned it into water and then he threw the nitrogen bottle down once enough was inside, then Rick took aim with Alisha's sniper rifle and hit the bottle once it got deep enough and it froze everything down there.

Pure: Well that's one squad down.

Seth: Yeah but I retasked the satellites and you got more coming on the way.

Pure looks at the hole

Pure: What if we set traps out here like this one?

Jack: Somebody would have to herd them in there.

Sandra: Yeah, someone like me.

Rick: Maybe, but there are too many passageways for them to use.

Pure: Well, what if we bottleneck the mountains?

Jack: And how pray tell are we going to do that?

Pure: We create a snow dam, we pile up the snow so high and dense they only have one way to go.

Jack: What about the air drones?

Pure: We can leave turrets behind to shoot them down when they get close to the hole.

Seth: I'm making a device that would make the drones think they are going in a higher mountain so that the turrets have a less chance of losing one.

Horatio: But if it does, we will be waiting for them.

Pure: Horatio, move up the line, I'll create the wall Jack, Rick go recon. Tell me if there are any other squads coming.

Jack: Let's go Rick.

Pure: Sandra, I'm going to need a bigger and deeper tunnel.

Sandra: Can't go close if they have radiation.

Seth: Sandra, you can control the other section of the shell to dig, just tell it.

Sandra: Ok.

Sandra disconnected the other shell from her and told it what to do. (The second shell is more like an add-on since she only needs one to fit in). It drills to the bottom of where Sandra made the hole and continued from there. While Horatio was moving up the line, he sent water from the ocean up to where Pure was to build the wall so they have only one way to go. Pure took the device Seth made out of his bag, set it down and hid it from sight. Once everything was set up Jack and Rick radioed.

Jack: Pure, another squad is coming!

Pure: Mima, I trust you have been watching everything?

Mima: Like I would not take the opportunity to learn something new.

Pure: Well timing is going to be this one.

Pure sets down a force field on the side with the nitrogen hooked onto a system that would deploy a bottle each time Mima would turn off the force field and let the soldiers drop in.

Pure: Ok Mima you are going to let the soldiers drop in when they get over it and freeze them. Horatio will handle the water one they move up the line.

Mima: Ok.

Pure: Ok, the wall is complete, how are we looking over there guys?

Artemis: It's a straight line to the ocean.

Jade: The drones are waiting behind the wall if they get past.

Trinity: I'm putting some turrets in the snow to shoot down and make them go inside.

Pure: Ok, everything is set; Seth, Randal and Trinity come with us and let's get going. The others hold the line, Marshal stay hidden and move with us hidden in the clouds but don't get too close to them since they will give away your position.

Marshal: Got it.

Seth, Randal, and Trinity came with the rest of the team. Seth got into Pure's car, Vincent got into Rick's car and Trinity hopped onto the back of Jack's car and they all headed off towards the mountain base with Marshal in the air. They took a route above the mountain so that the troops won't spot them. Everyone else stayed behind the line and defended when the gamma units until the base was destroyed.
