Evolution from the ashes of extinction

Operation: Refurbished Solider.

Everyone was busy at the fort until a call came in for Pure from the US President.

US President: Pure, this is the US President speaking.

Pure: What is it sir?

US President: We have proposed a reward for you since you took the diseased dozen in and already have a lot of projects that are currently underway.

Pure: What is it sir?

US President: You will know when she gets there.

Pure: She?

The US President hangs up.

Pure: Guys we got an incoming reward.

Horatio: What is it?

Pure: No idea, but he said it was a she.

Alisha: She?

Pure: I know, it's weird.

Horatio: Best thing to do is wait.

Everyone waits it out until a ship starts to come to the fort.

Pure: Wait a minute.

Horatio: Is that?

The ship docks at the harbor.

Horatio: The USS Missouri!?

Pure: What is this old bird doing here?

Seth: Old bird? What do you mean by that?

Pure: Oh, this ship is the pinnacle of kicking ass. Three triple cannons that fire at the same time or a sequence, missile silos that can rain hell, this baby has survived from since 1944 when it was launched. This baby sank hundreds of ships.

Captain: Thousands, actually. She was called again to service in World War III at a time of crisis. Since she was placed in pearl harbor it was the perfect opportunity for a surprise attack and stop reinforcements from coming to the US. She did a really good job but it didn't come without a cost. At the final days of the war she was damaged and we were fortunate she was near shore for her to still be here with us.

Pure: So what does he want me to do with it?

Captain: He doesn't want to do anything with it, it's yours.

Everyone: Huh!?!?

Vincent: What can he do with this old boat?

Pure: One of my pet projects was to refurbish and upgrade one of these bad girls to this era to make it super unstoppable.

Trinity: I didn't see anything like that in the projects you gave us.

Pure: I didn't want that lovely slipping into the wrong hands as well as the other heavy projects like the rail gun.

Jade: So what are we going to do?

Pure: This is my project and it's going to be our air base when I am done with it.

Artemis: Air base? Like gliding in the sky?

Pure: With the same carbon dioxide engine and solar power running it.

Carolina: Who is running that sweet tooth?

Pure: No idea yet, but I need this baby on dry ground for me to work on it.

Captain: Permission to head back to port to complete my mission?

Pure: Granted Captain. Horatio give him a boat so he can get back to the US.

Horatio: Copy that.

Horatio prepares a small boat with his sailors so that they could head back to the US to complete the mission. Once they were prepared they said their goodbyes and left the fort.
